The NBC Universal Television, DVD, Music & Consumer Products Group (which really needs a catchier name) on March 18 will release a Heroes soundtrack featuring exclusive tracks from the likes of Wilco ("Glad It's Over"), Panic! at the Disco ("Nine in the Afternoon") and Imogen Heap ("Not Now But Soon"), as well as classic tunes from Bob Dylan ("Man in the Long Black Coat") and David Bowie ("Heroes"), reports the Reporter. The disc will also will include the Heroes theme, and the B-side (do CDs have B-sides...?) features 45 minutes of nonstop Mohinder narrative.
In the meantime, this Friday NBCUTDMCPG will begin unspooling at Zune and MSN a series of five music videos created by Heroes producer/director Allan Arkush, each setting show footage to songs from the album. First up: Nada Surf's "Weightless."
