The description for 'Traveler' is here and I'll just say this: When you finish reading this, you're gonna say, "OH...MY...GOD IN HEAVEN!!!"

The CW's Official Description: "Traveler"
Airs March 20, 2008 on The CW

LIONEL KIDNAPS CLARK — Lionel (John Glover) arranges to have Clark (Tom Welling) kidnapped and held in a kryptonite-lined cell at a Luthorcorp facility. After Chloe (Allison Mack) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk) find a military electric probe at the farm, they confront Lionel, who throws suspicion onto Lex (Michael Rosenbaum). Chloe and Lana take Kara (Laura Vandervoort) to the Fortress and beg Jor-El to restore her memory as she is the only one who can save Clark. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (#3T6314).

I was so fooled into thinking Lionel had changed. Pete was right. Lionel is still just as bad as Lex.

I just had a thought on that.  What if it isn't Lionel, if you know what I mean.  What if it's...BRIANIAC?!  BTW,

I don't like watching these director cut, the give away too much from the actual episodes.  I want to be surprised when I watch it on the screen.

Someone would have to look it up but I believe Veritas was the name of the goddess of truth in some mythology. That being the case, 2 people spring immediately to mind-Lana, with her foundation and Wonder Woman, with her lasso. This episode looks promising at least.

I can't believe Lex had Swann's daughter killed. Man he's without any sense of right and wrong now.

Killing Swan's daughter was senseless I agree with Tim.   Other wise the episode was solid.  Chloe looked "dull" and not as interesting with her drab, really flat hairdue. Time for a new look, anyone agree?
Thurs. a good night for TV with "Reaper" in new episodes following Smallville.(hate the fat slob guy though and his dumb attitude. His rude one liners, (off-color a lot) ruin it for being a family show. He sucks. The Latino rocks, and the Devil is played real good.  The star of the show is just o.k. Does the show have a following here, since it follows Smallville?

This scene shocked me--and that's saying something.  I was completely unprepared for it.  The producers did well in this episode, best so far this season for explaining the whole mythology.  Very well done!

Thurs. a good night for TV with "Reaper

I usually watch it, and Supernatural when it's on. I watch pretty much anything sci-fi except for most of the original stuff created just for the sci-fi channel.

Funny you'd think the sci-fi channel would have better sci-fi stuff to watch.

I agree with you there, Tim!
Hey!  I missed the first, about 10 min. of "Traveler".  What was the reason behind Lionel kidnapping Clark?  For what purpose? I couldn't see any reason behind it; I thought it would add up later in the episode.  I have come up with a big Q.  Can someone explain?
Posted:  22 Mar 2008 18:34
I think it was to set up a deal with Swann's daughter. She gives him the evidence of his past murders and he let's her see the traveler aka Clark. After that he let's Clark go and nobody would be the wiser. Only Lionel didn't figure on one of his henchmen disobeying orders and trying to kill Clark.

What ever happened to the intro "Clark!  I'd like you to meet Swann's daughter" I don't think he'd run from a pretty girl!
Maybe she had to see he is powerless with Kriptonite bothering him. Seems pretty "mean" doesn't it? Lionel coulld have shown her his video of Clark going over/under Lex's car getting him out of the car under the water and flying???? up with his body or climbing up the sides saving his life.  Why didn't he?  I am sure a lot of viewers could have thought of that!! Maybe Tim, Swann's kid wasn't the reason.  Maybe it is a stumper???
When ya miss the first 10 minutes, you do get lost.
