WB programming online - The WB is returning with new programming (web-minisodes are reportedly in the works), as well as some of its most memorable series. Warner Bros. Television Group is reviving the network as a website, where viewers will be able to watch free streaming episodes of any WB-produced show. The details are unconfirmed at this point, but sources say that wb.com will have a preliminary launch next month and a "major rollout" in the fall.

One would assume there will be some Smallville stuff in there somewhere.

I wonder what the thought process is behind this.

"I am God's workmanship." (Ephesians 2:10)

"I am the salt and the light of the earth." (Matthew 5:13-14)

Maybe the future of television. You know they have it now where you can watch online programming through your television. I forgot what kind of computer you need but it hooks up to your TV somehow.

you need a good computer--that's it.

I have a program that allows me to watch up to 100 normal channels including news, sports drama, cartoons, etc. on my computer.  Just hook'd it up and go.

A video card with built-in TV and cable tuner with TV out or an additional VGA out will do that. It allows you to capture and record TV or cable input and play it back through your TV. Hauppage(Win TV-HVR 1600 one of them) has several cards that turn your computer into a virtual Video recording studio much like TIVO and you can edit the content, Nvidia and ATI have some cards as well, of course the more options the higher the price, but for web content playback you can do it for about $140.00 dollars.(TV needs VGA or "S" video input) Microsoft media center is designed for that type of function, so the computer controls what is on TV no matter where it originates.

Media center that was the word I needed. I believe these computers are especially made for viewing online programming on a TV screen.
