Everyone keeps talking about 'Descent', but now I say...SCREW IT!! 'Apocalypse' will the talked about episode now. See the official description.
The CW's Official Description: "Apocalypse" Airs May 1, 2008 on The CW CLARK SEES WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE IF HE HAD NEVER ARRIVED ON EARTH; TOM WELLING DIRECTS — Clark (Tom Welling) discovers that Kara (Laura Vandervoort) sent messages from Krypton in the past that indicate that Brainiac (guest star James Marsters) wants to kill Baby Kal-El so Clark will not exist in the future. Clark is torn because he thinks the world would be better off if he had never arrived in Smallville. Jor-El arranges for him to see what life would have been like if Clark hadn't existed - Lex (Michael Rosenabum) is President of the United States, Kara is raised by the Luthors, Jonathan (John Schneider) is alive, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) is happily married and Chloe (Allison Mack) and Lois (Erica Durance) are ace reporters. (Apocalypse--not darkseid unfortunately but appropriately named. There was a superman comic of an alternate universe where baby kal-el landed on Darkseid's planet of Apocalypse and not Earth--it showed what would've happened.) __________________ |

It's a Wonderful Life is a classic Jimmy Stewart Christmas movie. I watch it almost every year.
Stewart gets to see what the world would be like if he'd never been born. The whole town of Bedford Falls goes to pot err... Pottersville. Potter is an old evil scrooge type that wanted everyone to be poor except for him of course. An angel makes it all possible for Stewart to see the world without him, and at the end Stewart runs through the streets wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.  __________________ |

My favorite episode...they even included the black glove. Not being a big comic reader for supes-wasn;t that black glove to cover up his hand that was damaged by wearing a kryptonite ring or something to that effect? __________________ Beneath this mask is more than flesh. I find it weird but somewhat interesting that always most of the time Lex, in a alternate universe, is always president and wearing white suits with them black gloves. Except that one episode Lexmas I think it was called. Well cause Lex's future is most of the time keen on him being President of this country. But he never has and never will become it, that's to me the funny part of it all .__________________ The

Well it was a great episode. Loved it. Loved seeing Lex as President, and seeing Krypton's explosion was heavy duty for a TV show. Very cool.
Just have one complaint. They wasted a great opportunity to bring back John Schneider. They should have brought back Jonathan, Martha, and Lionel Luthor. They had enough potential material in this episode to make it a 2 episode epic. Lois Lane's reaction to Clark after he saved her was priceless but there was no amazement from her to his powers. Of course this was due to the whole meteor freak phenomenon she was accustomed to. One good reason the meteor freak thing should have never been played up as much as it was. I just missed that old amazement you see in Lois Lane when she first is rescued by Superman in the Superman Movie. Here in this episode she's going straight to being in love which was ok, but still. __________________ |

Now this is an episode that is worth watching again. I really liked it. I must say that Jor-El defiantly showed Clark why he is who he is because of him being sent to Earth because even though his friends are doing well without him, he makes an impact even if he wasn't around. I must say I thought it was really freaky that Kara was in with the Luthors and that Lex was still Zod's vessel. But then again Brain dude was still very influence in that. I swear though I think that Clark got way too into the moment of seeing himself as a baby. But at least he got to see a small part of Krypton even though it was being destroyed at the time. i do agree with you Tim, they should have let us fans see Jonathan and Martha again instead of just seeing an adopted son. "They are on a cruise for dad's birthday" I mean come on what's that! It's kinda funny to see that Lana still went to Paris, but met a different guy and only after high school. It was even funny to see sheriff Adams again. Overall a good episode. __________________ The
