Well, at least now we know what happens to Lex.

Excellent Plus--I really liked the way they expressed and resolved the conflict between Lex and Clark with a good way to end with Lex telling Clark he "loved him (like a brother" ==Seems the first time Lex was able to express a true emotion --he meant that, EVEN as he was going to watch Clark die by his doing.) My thought is this is how they end Lex for us, he thinking he would save mankind,(sort of redeeming himself, confused as he may have been.) And do you think the only survivor of the destruction will be Clark and that event the finish of Lex? M.Rosenberg began to grow hair when he rose up off the floor when the dirextor yelled "cut" LOL No problem to accept that ending. (Because all worked in really satisfying order and was a great Finale!)

do you think the only survivor of the destruction will be Clark and that event the finish of Lex The Lois and Clark hug was very touching. The era of Clark and Lana is definitely over. I would have cried if I weren't so tough. Even if I did nobody saw anything. 
I can't believe Chloe is going to jail.  What a back stabber Lex is.
This was the best one of the season. Man, I hope they can make every episode this cool next season. __________________ |

Now we have no Luthors, possibly no Chloe or Kara, and the main producers are gone and we are still stuck with Superman's pal Jimmy 'True Lies' Olsen. Let's just hope for the best. I did have a couple of issues with the episode itself. Lana comes out of her coma for five minutes and makes a Dear Clark video? Lazy forced writing for my tastes, but there was something even worse here... Chloe gets canned from the Planet and Lois brings Clark an application.....really lazy last minute plot development. On the plus side here, Chloe going to jail was the right way to go-crime for even the best of reasons is either a fault in the legal system or still a crime-a valuable lesson for her and Clark both. That thing that happened when Brainiac tapped Chloe and her power coccooned her was quite interesting, nice development and his reaction was priceless. I could have used some sort of info on the effect of the 'purple' kryptonite but Lex's final act of 'protecting humanity' was a very fitting departure for the character. By the by-I am a grown man, tough as you would imagine a cabbie in an urban neighborhood would have to be and I teared up at Lana's poorly written departure and the resulting embrace between the destined couple to be. I bet if Chuck Norris watched it, he would have to-ain't no shame in it... __________________ Beneath this mask is more than flesh.
