Does anyone know why Season Seven of Smallville was only 20 episodes this season? All of the other seasons before had 22. I hope they are not going to be like Stargate:SG-1 and Stargate:Atlantis where in order to save money they been filming only 20 episodes per season. Even Battlestar Galactica been having 20 episodes per season. All this shows are filmed around Vancouver area so who knows?
I would think it would be the cause of the writer's strike. They really effected alot of TV shows this year.

The writer's strike was definitely the reason the season was short. __________________
ya i noticed that to stupid writers strike i love this show and i wanted to c more in this season then was taped

I bet when the shows that got effected by the strike should have their DVD sets for a lower price since some of these shows were lucky to get 10, 15 to 20 episodes this season. Heroes got cut bad and we have to wait until this September for a new season. Wonder how much Season 2 of Heroes will be on DVD? lmao.

I wouldn't put it past them to add some extras to get the price back up as much as possible, but they have to be somewhat cheaper. __________________
