This Joker poster featuring Heath Ledger as the Joker is for sale at art.com at least at the time of this posting. Is this too grotesque for a Batman movie? Too violent? What do you guys think? I had something like it when I was a kid and my mother stuck tacks in the eyes!    This one makes it's point pretty well, but I don't think it is a brilliant marketing idea with Heath not yet cold in the grave.  A terrible way to "remember him".  Disrespect bigtime.  If I was family, I'd protest.    So to your Q., I answer--"Yes, too much" due to the circumstances of the tragic death. On the other hand, that fails on so many levels as a promotional poster.
