I pre-ordered this a while back from Amazon and got it the other day. I was rather disappointed as the 6-chapter format made the story hard to follow.
It's essentially a Japanese Animae take on Batman. It was nice to hear Kevin Conroy back voicing Batman again. If you do get this/rent it, be sure to listen to the commentary as Kevin shares a great story about what happened as he was helping out after the events of 9/11.
Like most DVDs, it has its Pros and Cons, still I think it is overpriced for what you get. __________________

I wish some of the animated series would go on sale. I see superhero movies I once paid top dollar for 5 bucks at walmart now, but those animated movies and series seem to stay top dollar no matter how old they get. __________________

BTW, in the commentary, Kevin Conroy (and the others on the track) talk about how the time Bruce spent before taking on the mantle of the Dark Knight had not been explored thoroughly, and they all thought there was a lot of stories to be told from that time period.
I laughed when I heard that, as that was Al & Miles' original pitch for the TV Series that they switched to Smallville when DC would not allow them to work with the Bruce Wayne character. __________________

You know your right. I want this video. Problem is I just spent 30 bucks taking my family to Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D. That was a good movie. The 3D was cool! __________________

So far I've seen
Journey to the Center of the Earth -*10 like a amusement park ride
Iron Man - 10
Indiana Jones - 10 - lots of fun
Hancock - 9 Funny and lots of action
Wanted - 7 good action but I didn't get into the direction of the film. Too much unrealistic cussing. Bosses in offices don't cuss constantly without getting fired for example.
I've had a job like that for about 2 years, and while people cussed at times you had to watch who you cussed around or you would be reprimanded. Certainly someone in a supervisory position wouldn't be allowed to go on like that women on Wanted. I'd say there'd be people suing and everything else. __________________
There are of course limits but just about anyplace where customers can't here is fair game for the boss or the employees. In fairness, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I doubt I'll be too terribly shocked. __________________

It's not just that, it's a matter of realism. They put more cussing in these movies than anybody except for people in the middle of a war, or a teenager would hear.
Cussing loses it's impact anyway when it's every other word. __________________
