Well, we just got through with Easter last weekend, so I'd say folks have been busy catching up from taking off early last week. __________________
The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.
"I am God's workmanship." (Ephesians 2:10)
"I have been redeemed and forgiven." (Colossians 1:14)
"I am the salt and the light of the earth." (Matthew 5:13-14)
Surprise!! I got it done early!! I decided this won't be the final season. Read, enjoy & give me feedback.
Smallville/WWE
Season 6: The War
When we last saw Clark Kent, he surrendered his WWE title and retired from wrestling. Even though he retired, he still kept in touch with his friends from WWE and watched every event. John Cena was named WWE Champion after Clark retired by winning a Battle Royal. Clark witnessed problems from both shows: On Raw, Vince & Shane McMahon became obsessed with beating Shawn Michaels & Triple H, who reformed D-Generation X, a new wrestler named Umaga ran wild by beating up wrestler after wrestler, and Lana Lang, who retired from wrestling & broke up with Clark, returned to WWE with…Lex Luthor, her new boyfriend and business partner. On SmackDown!, a new wrestler called The Great Khali manhandled The Undertaker not once but twice & tortured other superstars, Mark Henry continued to put Superstars on the shelf, including Paul Burtchell & Chris Benoit, Booker T won the King of the Ring Tournament and changed his name to King Booker, and Bobby Lashley lost the United States Championship to Finlay (Lashley won the belt from JBL)thanks to Finlay’s ‘leprechaun’. A major problem emerged after Judgment Day in the form of the rebirth of Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Paul Heyman, the founder & owner of ECW, announced that anyone from the Raw and SmackDown! roster is welcome to join. Some including Tazz, Hardcore Holly, Kurt Angle, The F.B.I. (Full-Blooded Italians), The Big Show & RVD, who won Money in the Bank at Wrestlemania. RVD announced that at the ECW pay-per-view, ECW One Night Stand, he would cash in the Money in the Bank in an Extreme Rules match. Thanks to Edge, Cena lost the WWE Title to RVD & was crowned ECW Champion that Tuesday night. On the Fourth of July, Heyman betrayed RVD in his ECW title match against Big Show. Batista returned from his injury and got revenge on Mark Henry, the man who injured him in January. At the Great American Bash, Chavo Guerrero helped King Booker win the World Heavyweight Title. That sparked Clark Kent to return to WWE. He return, though, was too late as Chavo injured Rey badly to the point where he would leave for surgery. In August, Kurt Angle was released from his WWE contract and left. A new problem emerged though when Lex Luthor declared war on WWE. Oliver Queen, who joined after the Great American Bash, formed his own army against Lex and even got Clark to join. At the ECW pay-per-view December to Dismember, Bobby Lashley, who joined the ECW roster weeks earlier, defeated Big Show and five others in an Extreme Elimination Chamber Match. Big Show retired after that Tuesday. Lana forfeited her title after she learned she was pregnant. To make things interesting, Lex proposed to Lana and she accepted. Triple H was injured at New Year’s Revolution with a torn quadriceps & two weeks before the Royal Rumble, Oliver left WWE for personal reasons and left Clark in charge. At the Rumble, Cena retained his WWE Title against Umaga, Bobby Lashley retained against Test and Batista retained against Mr. Kennedy. In the Rumble match, Undertaker won after eliminating Shawn Michaels last. Then, the mind games began: he showed up on Raw and ECW to see Cena & Lashley. Eventually, Taker challened Batista for the World Heavyweight Title at Wrestlemania 23, while Cena had to go against Shawn Michaels for the WWE Title and Bobby was chosen by Donald Trump to represent him against Mr. McMahon’ s representative, Umaga, but no match meant more or was more personal than Clark Kent vs. Lex Luthor in a Falls Count Anywhere match with…Lana Lang as the guest referee. During Lex & Lana’s wedding, Randy Orton betrayed Lex by revealing Lex’s true intentions and Lana’s fake pregnancy. Then, Clark’s army got some temporary allies thanks to Lionel Luthor: the New World Order (NWO)(Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle and the Dudley Boyz) and legends who showed support to Clark. Men like Hulk Hogan & Stone Cold Steve Austin help stop the wedding. Lana announced that the wedding was off. March 31st in Detroit, Michigan, the night before Wrestlemania 23, it was time for the Hall of Fame Ceremony. These were the inducted and the inductees:
April 1st, 2007, It was time for Wresltemania 23 at Ford Field. This was the fight card and its results:
Mr. Kennedy wins the Money in the Bank Ladder Match against Jeff Hardy, King Booker, Finlay, CM Punk, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton & Edge
The Great Khali def. Kane
United States Championship
Chris Benoit def. MVP to retain
World Heavyweight Championship Match
Undertaker def. Batista to become new champion
ECW Originals def. New Breed
Battle of the Billionaires
ECW World Champion Bobby Lashley (Donald Trump) def. Intercontinental Champion Umaga (Mr. McMahon)
WWE Women’s Championship Match Lumberjill
Melina def. Ashley to retain
WWE Championship Match
John Cena def. Shawn Michaels to retain
Falls Count Anywhere
Clark Kent def. Lex Luthor
Clark’s victory over Lex ended the war, Cena retained after a war with Shawn, The Undertaker won the World Heavyweight Title to become 15-0 at Wrestlemania and, with Lashley defeating Umaga, Mr. McMahon had his head shaved by Trump & Lashley with Austin, the guest referee, looking on. It was clear that Lana chose Clark over Lex. The superstars who joined Lex were put on probation. Clark & Lana wanted to retire for good, but decided to stick around awhile longer. A chapter had just begun.

Speaking of my alternate plot, I gotta add an exhibition bout between Clark & Pete vs. these two guys. Watch up to 1:20 of this. Let's just say: Bad guys you love to hate.
When we last left off, everyone was off the heals of Wrestlemania 23. While Mr. McMahon declared war on Bobby Lashley, Clark threw his name into the WWE championship hat, while Lana and Lois went for the Women’s Championship. After Judgment Day, a new Diva arrived on the scene in the form of Kara Kent, Clark’s cousin. She became Women’s Champion at The Great American Bash. Then, on June 11th, the WWE had a tri-brand draft lottery. The following superstars were drafted to different brands:
The Great Khali went to SmackDown!
The Boogyman went to ECW
Booker T & Sharmell went to Raw
Chris Benoit went to ECW
Torrie Wilson went to SmackDown!
Chris Masters went to SmackDown!
Bobby Lashley went to Raw
Ric Flair went to SmackDown!
Snitsky & Mr. Kennedy went to Raw
The night, however ended with a bang…literally. As Mr. McMahon got into his limo, it exploded with him inside supposedly. Then, it got worse. At Vengeance: Night of Champions on June 24th, Benoit & CM Punk were suppose to fight for the vacated ECW title, but Benoit backed down. And we learned why the next night on Raw. Clark, Lana, Kara, Lois, Chloe & Jimmy were on there way out to go to the Raw event, but it was canceled as Chris Benoit was found in his home along with his wife Nancy & 7 year old son Daniel. The WWE canceled Raw, but after that, life went on in the WWE. Mr. McMahon returned to the WWE after faking his own demise. It was announced that at Summerslam, it would be Kara defending the Women’s Championship against Lana, Lois and Candice Michelle while Clark battled John Cena for the WWE Championship. At Summerslam, it was announced that Triple H and Rey Mysterio would return as well. Rey did battle with Chavo Guerrero while Triple H battled King Booker. Rey & Triple H won while Clark won the WWE title and Candice won the Women’s title. Things continued to go smoothly until September 21st when Teddy Long tried to get married to Kristal when he collapsed of heart attack. With him out, assistant GM Vickie Guerrero took over full. Fast-forward to Survivor Series, Edge, who was injured in July, returned & screwed The Undertaker out of the World Title against Batista. At SmackDown!, it was revealed he & Vickie have a relationship. She was out for a week and Teddy Long returned as Assistant GM and announced for Armageddon, it would be a Triple Threat Match for the World Title: Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker. Edge won the title thanks to Zach Ryder & Curt Hawkins. Clark lost the title to Cena at Unforgiven, but Cena forfeited the title due to injury. As of result, at the end of No Mercy, Randy Orton became the new WWE Champion. Mr. McMahon issued Ric Flair an ultimatum: the next time he loses a match, his career was over. On December 10th, it was Raw’s 15th Anniversary & everyone was there; ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes, RVD, Stone Cold Steve Austin and many others were on hand as the end of the night, Austin invited everyone from the back to come to the ring, drink beer & celebrate 15 years of Raw. Clark, Lana, Lois, Kara, Jimmy, even Oliver Queen, Bart Allen, A.C. (Arthur Curry), Victor Stone & Pete Ross attended and celebrated. At Armageddon, the returning Y2J, Chris Jericho, returned to Raw but failed to win the title against Orton. Beth Phoenix won the Women’s championship. It was finally time for the Royal Rumble. While Orton retained against Jeff Hardy & Edge beat Rey, it was time for the 30-man Rumble. Ironically, The Undertaker & Shawn Michaels started it off and in the end, it was the returning John Cena at #30 who won the rumble. The next night, it was announced that at No Way Out, two Elimination Chamber Matches were announced with the winner of each being named the #1 contender for the WWE title & World title. And, Pete Ross returned to SmackDown! And the WWE after the Royal Rumble. For Raw, it was HBK, Chris Jericho, JBL, Umaga, Jeff Hardy & Triple H. For SmackDown! & ECW, it was Batista, Big Daddy V, Finlay, MVP, The Great Khali & The Undertaker. At the end of No Way Out, it was Triple H & The Undertaker winning the Chamber matches. So, at Wrestlemania 24 in Orlando, Florida at the Citrus Bowl, it would be Edge vs. Undertaker for the World title and Orton would defend against Triple H, John Cena & Clark Kent. It was also announced that at Wrestlemania 24, Snoop Dogg would be the Master of Ceremonies for the Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjack Match & Kim Kardashian would be the guest hostess. It was also announced after No Way Out, it would be the returning Big Show fighting Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, the boxer. On March 29th, the Hall of Fame ceremony took place. Here’s who inducted who:
JBL inducted the Brisco Brothers (Jack & Gerald)
Jim Ross inducted Gordon Solie
Pat Patterson inducted Mae Young
‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes inducted Eddie Graham
The Rock inducted his father Rocky Johnson and his grandfather ‘High Chief’ Peter Maivia
Triple H inducted ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair
March 30th, 2007: It was time for Wrestlemania 24 at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando Florida. A Citrus Bowl record of 74,635 was on hand. Here was the fight card & results:
JBL def. Finlay in a Belfast Brawl
CM Punk wins the Money in the Bank Ladder Match against John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Carlito, Chris Jericho and Mr. Kennedy
SmackDown vs. Raw: Batista def. Umaga
Kane def. ECW Champion Chavo Guerrero (New Champion)
Shawn Michaels def. Ric Flair (Career Threatening Match for Flair)
Beth Phoenix & Melina def. Ashley & Maria in the BunnyMania Lumberjack Match
Fatal Four Way Match: Clark Kent def. Randy Orton, John Cena and Triple H (New WWE Champion)
Floyd "Money" Mayweather def. Big Show (Knockout)
The Undertaker def. World Heavyweight Champion Edge (New Champion)
At the end of the night, Clark won the WWE title, The Undertaker won the World Title and went on to a 16-0 record at Wrestlemania, Floyd Mayweather knocked out the Big Show, but the match that everyone was talking about was Shawn Michaels defeating Ric Flair, forcing him into retirement. The next night on Raw, Ric Flair gave his farewell address to everyone. But before he left, Triple H came out to say thank you. He also introduced others who wanted to say ‘Thank you.’ including Batista, John Cena, Chris Jericho and Edge, and contemporaries such as the legendary Harley Race, Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Greg Valentine Dean Malenko, the legendary Four Horsemen - Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Barry Windham and JJ Dillon, Flair's family, including his wife, daughter and two sons, Clark, Lana, Lois, Kara, Jimmy, Oliver, Chloe & Pete. Then, Shawn Michaels came out and embraced his idol and they both cried. Finally, Triple H called everyone from the back out to the ring to say ‘Thank you.’ Everyone was there. Everyone on their feet chanted, ‘Thank you, Ric.’ Then, the song, ‘Leave the Memories Alone’ by Fuel hit the speakers & continued playing till the night end. During the farewell, we can hear Clark in a voiceover to us saying, “If they ever tell my story, let them say I wrestled with legends. Wrestlers rise & fall like the winter wheat, but their names will never die. Let them say I wrestled in the time of The Game, Triple H. Let them say I wrestled in the times of The Crippler, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, and the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Let them say…I wrestled in the time…of Ric Flair.”
