situation only to find out I’m gonna be a father the same day?” Clark asked Lana at the Met U campus.     “I should have told you alot sooner,” Lana stated.  “But with you as a Jedi master & on the council, that would be too much and if the council discovers you’re the father, you will expelled from-”     “I know,” Clark interrupted  “I know.”     Lana already explained that she had been pregnant for four months & didn’t even know it.  Nevertheless, this was a problem, more than keeping their marriage a secret.  Lana had some thoughts on the baby.     “Clark, I want to have the baby in Smallville,” she said.  “I could move into the farm until we find an apartment.  The only thing is that I don’t where the baby’s room will be.”      Clark thought it was a good idea.  Then changed the subject.     “You’re so beautiful,” he said.      “It’s only because I’m so in love,” she replied.  “But I’m sure it’s true.”     They then went to bed for the night, hoping to have pleasant dreams.     Lex awoke in a cold sweat.  It felt so real, he thought.  He, then, looked at his clock.  It was 2:00 in the morning.  Maybe a drink will put me back to sleep, he thought.  Lex went to his private bar to a drink only to hear a voice from up the stairs.     “Looks like I’m not the only one with insomnia, son,” Lionel stated.      “What’s keeping you up, Dad?” Lex asked.     “Just can’t sleep,” he replied.  “I heard you moaning from up hear.  Is everything alright, son?”      “It was a nightmare, if you must know,” he stated, and then poured a drink.  “Lana was here in the mansion.  She was running from someone.  She got killed.”     “Son, you had a premonition,” Lionel replied.  “You may need to see someone for this.  Someone like Master Yoda.”     Lex pondered on this, even after he went back to bed.     Lex made an appointment to see Master Yoda about the vision.  Yoda was confused.     “Premonitions,” he started.  “Premonitions.  Hmm.  This vision you had...”      “It is of pain, suffering...death,” Lex replied.     “Yourself you speak of or someone you know?” Yoda asked.      “Someone,” Lex replied.     “Close to you?” Yoda asked.      “Yes,” Lex answered.     “Careful, you must be when sensing the future, Lex,” Yoda started.  “The fear of lose is a path to the dark side.”      “I can’t let this vision come true, Master Yoda,” Lex stated.     “Death is a natural part of life,” Yoda said.  “Rejoice for those around you who transform into the force.  Mourn them, do not.  Miss them, do not.  Attachment leads to jealousy.  The shadow of greed, that is.”      “What must I do, Master Yoda?” he asked.     “Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to loose,” Yoda answered.  “Even if a Jedi you are not.”     Lex was still convinced that he had to prevent it, despite Yoda’s words.     The council was out of session early for the first time in weeks.  Obi-Wan hoped to catch Clark but was ducked.  Windu caught Kenobi and was confused.     “Is everything alright, Kenobi?” Windu asked.      “I’m concerned about Clark,” he answered.  “He’s been distracted for months and is nervous around us.”     “I sensed this as well,” Mace replied.  “I need you to check on him.  Find out what is going on and report back to us.”      “Understood, Master,” Ben answered.  He then left to begin his investigation.     This was a good idea, Clark thought to himself as he laid underneath a tree with Lana.  Then, he felt something.     “Lana,” he said.  “The baby kicked.”      “I know,” she stated.  “Baby’s been doing that for a few months now.  I think the baby takes after his daddy.”     They share a passionate kiss when a beeping noise interfered.  Clark’s cell was beeping.  He received a text message.     “It’s Master Windu,” he started.  “Dorian Gray has been spotted in Edge City.  I’m to apprehend him.”  He looked at Lana.  “Lana, I-”      “Go and get him, Clark,” she stated.  “I see ya, tonight.”     He immediately got in his truck and headed for Edge City.          Lana forgot to grab her cell from Clark’s loft, so she went back.  When she got there, Obi-Wan was waiting.     “Why didn’t you say something?” he asked.      “What are you talking about, Ben?” she replied in confusion.     “I know the truth,” he stated.     Oh, no, she said to herself.     “I know about your marriage to Clark,” he started.  “I also know you’ve been pregnant with his child for months.”      “How?”, she asked.     “I interrogated Chloe,” he explained.  “She said you got sick the morning of the hostage situation and that she took you to Dr. Sinclair at Smallville Medical.” “Please don’t say anything,” she begged.  “I love him.  If the council finds out-”     “Don’t worry,” he said.  “I won’t say anything.  I’ll make something up for the Council.”     As he was leaving, Lana said to Ben, “Thank you.”     Lex came into his office where King was waiting with things to say.     “Is everything alright, Lex?” he asked.      “Well, the council found Mr. Gray and they ordered Clark to intercept him,” he replied.           “Let’s hope Clark is up to the challenge,” he said.  Alec noticed something was wrong with Lex.  “Is everything alright, Lex?”, he asked.      â€œI’m frustrated, King,” he replied.     “Because of your vision?” he asked.     Lex looked confused and wondered how he knew. “Your father told me,” he said.  “I can help you, Lex.  You can save her if you use the power of the dark side.”          â€œWhat did you say?” he asked.     “Use my knowledge, Lex,” he said.  “I beg you.”     Lex pulled his gun out and I should kill him right now, he thought to himself.  Before he could pull the trigger, Alec began to speak.     “I know this trouble’s you,” he started.  “Listen to me.  Don’t continue to be a pawn of the Jedi and your father.  You once said you wanted to forge your own destiny away from your father.  I can give you that.”     He turned his back to Lex as he still pointed his gun at King.  He was starting to get confused as to whether or not he should pull the trigger.  Then, King broke the silence.     “Are you going to shoot me, Lex?” he asked.      “I would very much like to,” Lex responded.     “Oh, I know you would,” King said.  “I can feel your anger.  It gives you focus, makes you stronger.”     He’s more evil than I thought, Lex said to himself.  Maybe the Jedi should deal with him.  As he said this to himself, he lowered his gun.      “I’m turning you over to the Jedi, King,” Lex stated.     “Oh, by all means, you should,” King said.  “But you’re not sure if the council can trust you or not.  You’ll need these.”     He handed Lex a file.  It contained orders signed by Lex and Lionel.  They were orders to produce droids and the clone troopers at the LuthorCorp division in Metropolis.  Lex couldn’t believe it.      “You tricked me and my father,” he said.     “It is for the safety of this planet, Lex,” he stated.     As Lex was leaving his office, Alec reminded him, “Remember, Lex.  Learn to use the dark side of the Force.  The power to achieve your every desire, including having Lana as your wife.”     Before he stormed out of his office, Alec pressed his thumb to Lex’s forehead.  “I give you the powers of my former apprentice.  Use them as you see fit.”  He then stormed out of the office to report to the Jedi council.     Clark reached the abandoned warehouse on 45th in Edge City.  Dorian is hiding here?, he asked himself.  He parked his truck and snuck in through the window.  Some troopers were discussing business with Gray.  He couldn’t make out what they were saying.  Clark took his Jedi robe off and then leaped to the ground level and confronted Gray.     “Mind if I join you for lunch, Gray?” he said sarcastically.      “Master Kent,” he said.  Then laughed.  “You are a bold one.  Kill him.”     Clark activated his lightsaber and stood in attack position.  Three troopers advanced.  Suddenly, Clark used his Jedi power to cause a crate to fall from the cables above the floor and crushed the troopers.  The other troopers were ready to shoot Kent, but Gray had enough.      “Back away,” Dorian ordered.  “I will deal with the Jedi slime myself.”     “Your move,” Clark said.      “You fool,” he started.  “I’ve been trained in the Jedi arts by Darth Sidious.”     As he said this, he pulled two lightsabers and activated the red blades.      “Attack, if you dare,” he stated.     Clark returned to his fighting stance.  Then, Dorian leaped into the air and the fight between Kent and Gray began.     Lana met with Mrs. Kent and Obi-Wan to discuss everything that was happening.     “I’m sorry that I didn’t say anything to you, Mrs. Kent.” she started.  Then corrected herself.  “I mean, Mom.”      “You could’ve said something, Lana,” Martha replied.  “If you need a place to raise the baby, you are always welcome here until you and Clark find a place.”     “Thank you...Mom,” she said.     Obi-Wan then interrupted the girls.     “I was able to convince the council that his stress was work related,” he started.  “I think I can get you and Clark a place, but it will take time.”      “Thank you, Ben,” she said gratefully.  “I decided that I want you to be the child’s godfather.”     What Lana said surprised Kenobi.  He was honored.  “Thank you.”     They continued to discuss plans until a message from the council came to Kenobi.      “Clark has engaged Dorian,” he said.  “I must return to the temple.”     He left in a hurry, hoping to find out more.     The fight was taken all over the place.  I underestimated this Jedi, Gray thought.  He already lost one of his lightsabers.  Clark gave Gray a run for his money.  They crossed blades again.  Then Gray made a comment.     “You must realize,” he started.  “You are doomed.”     “Oh, I don’t think so,” Clark replied.  As he said this, he used his Jedi powers to knock Gray to the floor, which lost Gray his final lightsaber.  Clark then leaped back to the ground and fought Gray hand-to-hand.  Dorian was stronger though and knocked Kent to the ground.  He picked up a sharp piece of pipe and was ready to make the kill.  Before he could stab him, Clark used his powers to summon one of the dead trooper’s gun and shot Gray until he lied dead on the ground.  As Clark stood over Gray’s dead body, he tossed the gun away.      “So uncivilized,” he said.  Then, he reactivated his lightsaber and attacked the troopers.     Lex finally reached the temple and found Master Windu.     “Master Windu,” he started.  “I must speak with you.”      “Luthor,” Mace said.  “We just received word that Clark has destroyed Gray.  I’m on my way to request instructions from the United Nations council on what to do next.”     “I know what you should do,” Lex stated.  “I just learned a terrible truth.  Alec King is a Sith lord.”     Windu was in shock.  “A Sith lord?” he asked.     “Yes,” he said.  “The one you’ve been looking for.”      “How do you know this?” he asked Lex.     “He told me himself,” Lex said.  “He also knew you wouldn’t believe me, so he gave me this.”  Lex then gave Windu the same file King gave him.  “My father and I were tricked into signing these documents.  He’s at his office at the LuthorCorp Plaza in Metropolis, if you want to arrest him.”      “Our worst fears have been conformed, then,” Windu said.  “We must move quickly if the Jedi and the world are to survive.”     “He’s one of my employees, Windu,” Lex stated.  “You’ll need me to make the arrest.”      “No,” Mace said.  “If what you said was true, you’ll have gained my trust.  For now, stay out of this.  I sense great confusion in you, Luthor.  You’re judgment is clouded.” As he and three other Masters boarded a van, he ordered Lex to wait in the council chambers for them to return.  Lex agreed and the Jedi masters were on their way. It didn’t take long for the masters to arrive at the LuthorCorp Plaza and getting to King’s office. “Master Windu,” he started.  “I heard Gray was killed.  I don’t understand why you’re here.” Windu and the other masters began to draw their lightsabers.  As they did this, Windu stated, “In the name of the United Nation’s Council, you’re under arrest, Sidious.” “You dare to threaten me?” he said angrily. “I hope you’re going to come quietly,” Windu said.     King rose from his chair and a lightsaber came out from his sleeve and activated the red blade.  “You...will...SUFFER!!”  After he said this, he leaped into the air angrily.  He killed the three Jedi masters, leaving Mace to battle Sidious.     Lex pulled up in his Porsche and headed inside.  He heard noises from the boardroom and headed inside.  Lex found Mace and his purple blade cornering King.     “You are under arrest, Mr. King,” Mace said.  He then saw Lex enter the room and signaled him back.      “Lex,” King said.  “I told this would happen.  I was right.  The Jedi are taking over the world.”     “The oppression of the Sith will never return,” Windu stated.  “You have lost.”      “No,” King said in his Sidious voice.  “No, no.  You will die.”  As he said this, lightning shot out of his fingers, hoping to kill Windu, but he used his purple lightsaber to deflect the lightning back.  “He’s a traitor,” he said.     “He is the traitor,” Mace said.     As Lex stood in confusion, Sidious pleaded to Lex, “I have the power to save the one you love.  You must chose.”      “Don’t listen to him, Lex,” Windu said.     King continued to plea to Lex as his face became deformed, “Don’t let him kill me.  I can’t hold on any longer.  I can’t.  I’m weak.  I’m...too weak.”  Finally, he gave up with the lightning and kept pleading, “Lex, help me.  Help me.  I can’t hold on any longer.”      “I’m going to end this, once and for all,” Mace stated.     “No,” Lex said.  “If he’s guilty, he must stand trial for what he’s done.”     “He’s too dangerous to be kept alive,” Mace pointed out.     King kept pleading, “I’m too weak.  Don’t kill me, please.”     “It’s not you’re way,” Lex stated.  “He must live.”     King was saying in fear, “Please don’t.”      “I need him,” Lex said.     Mace raised his lightsaber and prepared to kill Sidious, but he was ready to land the blow, Lex shouted, “NO!!” and used his newly required powers to summon Sidious’s lightsaber and chop Mace’s hand off and his lightsaber went out the broken window.  As Mace screamed in pain, Sidious smirked, evilly and blasted lightning at Windu and shouted, “Power.”  He continued to blast Windu with his power as Lex stood there and watched everything happen while deactivating the lightsaber.  Sidious then said to the dying Windu, “Unlimited power.”  After saying this, he used his lightning to throw Windu out the window to his death.  He then took a breath of relief and looked at Lex.     “What have I done?” he asked himself out loud.     He collapsed to a chair, while Sidious rose and approached Lex.      “You’re fulfilling your destiny, Lex,” he said in his raspy evil voice.  “Become my apprentice.  Learn to control the dark side of the force.”     Lex hesitated at first, but caved.  “I will do whatever you ask.”      “Good,” Sidious said evilly.     “I pledge myself to your teachings,” Lex said.      “Good,” the dark lord stated.  “Good.”  He kept breathing in a raspy way at first.  Then he said, “The force is strong with you.  A powerful Sith you will become.  Hence forth, you shall be known as Darth...Onyx.”     “Thank you, my master,” Lex, who is now Darth Onyx, said to his master.
