 Im surprised too, cause the characters of Shoeshine boy and Clark Kent are both mild mannered, shy and both wear glasses as a disguise, while Polly Purebreed is a "Reporter" just like Lois Lane. Underdog changed in a phone booth like Superman and was constantly saving Polly from the likes of Riff Raff and his sidekick Mooch and Dr. Simon Bar Sinister and his aide Cad.Much like Superman saves Lois.
