Just like Batman, the mask is more the person/ideantity than the figure beneath it. You do get something of a glimpse of the actor at least when he played the old man in the park.

To me and many others the graphic novel is actually better. A warning though. The book is more political in nature(hard to imagine, I know  ), and a bit less about action and explosions. It's also got a certain pace to it, like reading a regular novel. Some people get turned off by this. You would have to read it for yourself to decide. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do if you do get your hands on a copy.
A book by the same writer(Alan Moore) has more of the superhero type stuff in it- Watchmen. You might have seen the trailer for the new movie if you caught Dark Knight at the theatre. Another widely praised book you might like.

thanks now I know what to watch, gotta call Eddy though first, get it out of his store. I like all the videos, but I like the one by Evanescence and The Rosary Vendetta ones the best.
