SupermanTV.net Forum / Superman / Smallville / A FEW QUESTIONS ABOUT NOV.20th EPISODE

Posted:  21 Nov 2008 05:25

If Doomsday is  operated or conrtolled by an artificially maintained  "Lex" (have I gort that part right?)--Why does "Lex" want Chloe!--he never liked her-- Is he  (or "it") planning to plot destruction of Clark  thru an influenced or altered Chloe?  WHO is sustaining "Lex" in the state he is in.?? (or are we not expected to know that yet?)
Posted:  21 Nov 2008 06:07
We're not supposed to know yet.

It's a shame we have to wait until January for some answers, but you now have the opportunity to rewatch the season thus far and maybe discover some things for yourself.

My foundation IS shaky.

Anyone else catch The Persuader on the preview?  Looks like the Legion brought some unintentional cargo.

The Persuader from the Fatal Five

Hey, did anyone cath the name for the song at the end?  (Jebas, it feels like forever since I've had to ask that.)

My DVR went off at the preview part, but I want to know if Rosenbaum is coming back. I want to see Clark beat the crap out of Doomsday. I can't wait till Jan 15.

Considering what they were alluding to at the end, we probably won't be seeing this.

Do you guys think that Lana could be working with Lex? She's obviously helping somebody. We all saw that text message she got, "Did the archer believe you?".
Posted:  22 Nov 2008 08:20
I think it has something to do with project Aries.

I think the text was from the same person who left the note saying 'sorry I missed you'. Tess.

It could also have been from Professor Hamilton.

As a complete longshot, I'd even see a possibility of this being John Jones.

Maybe this Lana is just a cloned Lana controlled by Lex Luthor.

I was kinda stunned by what was happening with Chloe among other things. Wasn't paying attention to the song. Sorry.

"Don't Take Your Love Away" by VAST

I was starting to miss those sad songs at the end.

I can't believe they are going make us wait this long but I guess things could be worse. My girl ain't too happy about waiting that long, but lol she says in order to keep herself busy until then. She is going to work on her Christmas projects for her family. 'I need to keep myself preoccupied somehow. 2 and 1/2 months is while. I guess it's a little better then waiting the whole entire summer for a new season.' LOL she is funny when she is bored.

I have a question--Green Arrow, does he have the same code about "not killing" as Clark?  That arrow went right thru docoy Lex's head.
Posted:  28 Nov 2008 19:42
I think he has unless it's Lex Luthor.

It's a typical character thing with DC, especially around Batman's circles, where the hero has had someone killed and their first impulse is to kill right back. They usually have to learn 'heroes don't kill' as a result.

Well Clark has certained maimed plenty, maybe that is enuff for him. (Punching them thru brick walls, etc.)
The fact that G.A. had the INTENT to kill and would have if that wasn't a dummy, now makes me wonder if he was manipulated, and some of you think Lana is a clone at the controls.  That seems to made sense then. Maybe we are supposed to figure that out??
Am I the only one who wishes that people would stop being controlled and being  possessed , and keep their identity? Happens so much. We always seem to be speculating "who" is really "who" or "what"??????

Smallville overkill top 5

5. People learning Clark's secret and then either dying or conveniently forgetting.

4. Cutesy easter egg type comic book references which make no sense for the characters to actually say or do.

3. Possessions, power swaps, personality reversals.

2. Chloe crying.

1. Lazy writing.
(case in point? The episode this season that had Clark tell Chloe or vice versa they'd 'been friends for eight years now' or how Ollie found Clark at all in the season opener or how John Jones flew Clark to the sun and got back home powerless or how Chloe went straight for meteor rock on her wedding day that was conveniently laying around or how Clark pulled out that crystal in front of Lois and sent them both to the Phantom Zone, etc etc etc) This was all just this first half of this season.
-----------------------------------------------

Funny side note here. The first three or four seasons we had people getting meteor abilities every week to two weeks. It was tedious. Now we get none. What happened? The meteor rock didn't go away...

There's only one planet, and I doubt that every meteor rock from Krypton's explosion was sent to earth.

Then again, it's funny how much of it did...

Clark's little ship apparently had enough pull from it's propulsion to haul along most of the debris to the same planet it was going. It gets better. Not just to the same planet, but the same small town in Kansas, USA.

Like, wow.

Tess is beginning to suspect??(Clark's power)--what info did Lex leave with her???--everything he knew?

That would seem to be the focus of an upcoming episode, itzabird. You can look under the spoiler thread for the episode 'Turbulence'.

Doubtful since he's been dead a long time now.
