Pages: 1 Posted:  26 Nov 2008 18:29 Registered User Posts:  619 Join Date: Aug 2007 I heard on the news last night that networks are running out of money in the financial crisis and they may soon be elimination characters (even and including preferably top characters due to their high salary) IF this crunch comes to Smallville--who do you vote out?     I know WE need them ALL---but if the network takes one--- who should it be.(Who will it be)  You don't have to give a reason, but it would be interesting! Chloe Lois Jimmy Oliver Tess Doomsday I wouldn't mind cutting Jimmy, because since he and Chloe are married. We can't get rid of him without ditching her too. I'd say Doomsday doesn't have to be a regular. He'll have to be there for the fight in the next episode, but he wouldn't have to show up again till the season finale. Right? Chloe is technically from what I 'am told not an officialuperman character and was only created for the show. So if she isn't a true uperman character and not mention she no longer is a keeper of the secret, I hate to say it but maybe she can go. Cause I know Jimmy is an official uperman character. Davis can go after this season, I mean doomsday is awesome, but bring in some other uperman villains. I know that they have done (I hope I'm spelling this right) MXYZPTLK in the 4th season, but I can't think of any others at the moment that they have done, besides Lex Luthor also of course. I don't know, just bring more of the classic uperman Villains. I don't want mallville to end, I love this show too much and I know they can do more. Oliver can't since he's Clark's tie to the JLA, and Tess and Doomsday can't go cause they are the major villains, and Lois can't go because she's the primary love interest. Since Jimmy is a Superman character, he can always return at some later point in Clark's life. And Chloe no longer knows his secret so as soon as she's rescued, the show won't need her anymore. And we can't cut just Jimmy and not Chloe, because its a little too soon for a divorce, don't you think? Posted:  01 Dec 2008 16:42 Registered User Posts:  619 Join Date: Aug 2007 That was sure reasoned out well!   Chloe is in a position where she could "go" right now actually.  And Jimmy could go join the "peace corps" or something for his grief..and as you say as a regular Superman character--return later.(Like when the economy recovered and they had more money for salary))  That is one of the ways the networks could cut two top characters and not affect the show but save a ton a money.    Your solution to take them as a couple really would be perfect. They work the character in with animmation or finger puppet. (Actually, I could go with that(F.P.) because  everyone knows I keep praying for some humor in Smallville!;  Anyone else have my sense of humor?) Finger puppet= a Perfect "LEX" bald n' all!!
