DC COMICS’ LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ARRIVE IN SMALLVILLE FROM THE FUTURE TO HELP CLARK STOP BRAINIAC AND THE PERSUADER — The aftermath of Doomsday’s (Sam Witwer) attack on Chloe (Allison Mack) and Jimmy’s (Aaron Ashmore) wedding leaves Clark (Tom Welling) in shock, but before he can search for the kidnapped Chloe, The Persuader (guest star Fraser Aithceson) appears and attacks him. Rokk (guest star Ryan Kennedy), Imra (guest star Alexz Johnson) and Garth (guest star Calum Worthy), also known as The Legion, step in from the future to help vanquish the Persuader and the group realizes Brainiac has taken over Chloe once again. Meanwhile, up at the Fortress, Chloe, as Brainiac, informs Davis he is Doomsday and was created to kill “the other Kryptonian” and destroy the world. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (#3T7461).
WOW!!! This episode actually ties 'Justice' for best episode EVER!!! 'Legion' was so AWESOME!! The Persuader, Chloe/Brainiac, the Legion themselves and...Doomsday!! YES!! __________________
Very cool episode. Awesome except for the calling Clark Kal-el bit. Always before in comics and the cartoon they just called him Superman. __________________

Loved this episode. I was surprised the Legion was so young! They seem like high school kids--are they? That is why I was also surprized at the shoulder grip Clark had on the red head boy, obviously it hurt from his grimace--and he looked like just a kid. Sort of out of character for Clark. The story is really good!!

I don't have a vcr or cable here atmy apartment, so i have to download it online.
so, that being said I just finished watching it and it was awesome! I love that tad about Garth's little sister Ayla (name isn't mentioned) and brainiac 5.
very cool, they legion got the personalities dead on as well, great choices for actors.
itzabird- yeah, the legion are mainly kids-teens. i.e. Lightning lad, Cosmic boy, and saturn girl. I think what hurt Garth the most was his hero getting ticked at him
as for chloe, a LOT in this episode, while not all verbally, pointed to her being killed off soon. She could always go into hiding and pretend to kill her self like lana did that one time, but imo, she's going to leave before/at the season's end. __________________

When I saw The Persuader, I said, "Holy Crap!! It's the Man in the Iron Mask...on roid rage...and he's got a piece!!" That and I liked the one quote by Garth. 'Get ready for a tecno-exorcism.' I said, "We're gonna need an old priest and a young priest. The power of Christ compels you! The power of Christ compels you!" LOL!! __________________
Are the Legion going to drop by from time to time?
'Nother Question--- As they were able to extract Brainiac from Chloe, a near miracle--CAN THEY do the same thing now for Davis taken over by Doomsday, and if so--does that clear us from the hulky storyline. I'd like them to take the essence in a ball of Doomsday to the future TOOOO!!--- both of them for good, because we don't have many more episodes of Smallville left and I'd like to have a change from Mega-Freakyzoid computer-robots or whatever.
Notice there is not much Krypton hangin' around Smallville lately (green or red) I'd like to see both re-appear around some good stories. Red especially.

no, doomsday is, apprently the main being while davis is simply a shell. besides, he's not a computer so the techno-exorcism wouldn't work.

oh please give me some hope==I know most viewers "like" the Doom man but not me--I want him gone and some more realistic peope storys to continue till the season ends. Ya know, I need some heart, something that touches me on a real basis. I never did well with the frenzy of thingys. Tell me they will vacate the screen soon---I hope!!

THIS WAS AN AWESOME EPISODE I really enjoyed this episode and I agree it was as cool as Justice. __________________
The MAN Rox and I stand with everything he stands 4, but I gotta have my girl Angelina wherever I go.
Wasn't that a magnificent scene. I thought the directing of the episode was one of the best, and the scene you put on here had terrific graphics--That big black blob on the front of Chloe's dress was distrubing--I wondered if it was a burn and how it came thru her human flesh without setting her on fire??
