A quote from 'Wizard' magazine: Quote: Fantastic Four to films to...Superman?
It's been a great year for Mark Millar, and 2009 promises even more fantastic projects from the superstar scribe.
Millar's future film credits could be expanded even more within the next year with a very familiar Man of Steel.
"It's very unofficial, but a friend of mine who's a big action director was contacted by Warner Brothers the day after Bryan Singer decided not to pursue 'Superman:Man of Steel,'" revealed Millar in an interview. "I had given up on the idea of getting to doing it, but my friend got in touch with me and said, 'The Warners came to me, would you be interested?'" Millar mentioned that his director contact stipulated he was "not going to do it unless Mark's writing it," but don't go and start buying tickets just yet-this isn't a sure thing. "They've been looking at a couple of other guys, too," confesses Millar, "but a decision will have to be made over the next couple of months."
