This repeat was nowhere near as dreadful as the one where Lana joined the vampire sorority. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

The vampire society rates the #2 spot with me, and last nite will stand as the all time most dismal in Smallville history with me. Pathetic even.

Which one was it? I hardly ever watch the repeats. I've got too many Smallville DVDs to watch. __________________

That was the one where somebody is attacking Chloe's people from the Isis group and Jimmy goes along with Davis on his rounds. The bad guy was one of Chloe's group, a shadow creep. We get the first definite proof of Davis not being a good guy with the crucifix on his mirror, taken from one of his victims. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Oh that one wasn't so bad. Not on my all time favorite list, but not bad. __________________

The only good thing was I missed the episode in thefirst place, so at least I am caught up. Oddly, I now realize I hate every episode with those phantoms and shadow people. When they turn up in episodes I freak out. Must be something in my childhood. My mom used to say I went yelling out of the theatre seeing "Fantasia", a Disney movie.

Gee, I know the feeling. I still refuse to watch the Wizard of Oz to this day. That crazy witch scared the crap out of me before I was even in kindergarten. Never again. __________________

THIS IS A DIRECT QUOTE FROM FOX NEWS THIS MORNING POSTED ON THEIR WEBSITE NEWS PAGE-. THE ARTICLE ,POSTED ON THEIR FRONT PAGE WAS MUCH LONGER,THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!)---------------
====================================================
"Aliens may be living among us, but we wouldn't know it because they'd be microbes that do not have the standard biochemistry of Earth-dwelling organisms.
As well as the many forms of life based on DNA that are known to science, the Earth may be home to "shadow life," a second creation of organisms that make up an unnoticed realm of "life as we don't know it," according to Paul Davies of Arizona State University, a cosmologist and theorist of extraterrestrial life"
.
(The above Snipped from Fox News THIS MORNING!!!!)

Oh crap!! Now these "Shadow People" I hate so
much might be sitting in my lap as I type! Just peachy! I suppose those dreaded "Phantoms" from the Zone can get right in the shower with me and I'd never have a clue!!!

It's funny. The zone phantoms, the screechy things from Harry Potter and the Nazgul from the Lord of the Rings didn't bother me at all really. Just cool visual characters. Where the shadow critters did get me though, was from a movie going aways back called 'Ghost'-not a big huge scary movie and the effects in comparison to any of those other shadow things are probably laughable at this point, but back then when I watched that movie, they got deep under my skin. Just like Billy Mahoney from 'Flatliners' and the original black and white intro to I Dream of Jeannie, where her eyes are peering through the bottle. I watch horror movies like there's no tomorrow and even laugh usually at the most horrible sorts of things, but those eyes used to bug the hell outta me for some reason.

U of A better have some proof or people like James Randi will wind up having a field day with them. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

PAK--The article was much longer but I was afraid to post it all, worry about copyright problems. I don't have a printer I whudda saved it. It was pretty scientific using some terms the layman might not understand.
But after reading it, you start looking around for the "Shadow People" U of A insists exist . The writer seemed pretty credible! I am sure more will be offered in follow up. I am not too far from U of A,--maybe I can request it.
Meanwhile everyone, keep looking behind you QUICKLY!!! LOL

If the U of A has anything, it'll be online(then again it would also be on the front of every newspaper and in every newscast as well). __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

PAK!---Don't forget to get up early and get your newsppaaappeeerrr!!!!!LOL
I usually put faith in Fox News. It wasn't a hoax. They were reporting what they had from Uof A, maybe the Professor was out in the sun toooo long or something--but the whole entire informative article seemed to me that there may be something to it. Altho, I do hope not!.
Wish I had gotten the entire article for you. There was a block on the "copy-paste" function from the news site , so I sent part of the article over to my "bookmarks" and there I could copy it. Maybe it took the whole thing. I just took a few first paragraphs ( that I highlighted) If it did and it is OK with Tim, I'll put it here because it deals with our "Shadow People" and things with alternate molecular structure and DNA like we see the writers use on Smallville.
And as I said before: Watch your back. Hee Hee

Here is more. There is a link to the LONDON TIMES where the article first appeared but it won't work from where I have this saved (my bookmarks) Any way--here is a little more I captured!
This from the Fox News Web Page-- you already read some of it.
"Aliens may be living among us, but we wouldn't know it because they'd be microbes that do not have the standard biochemistry of Earth-dwelling organisms.
As well as the many forms of life based on DNA that are known to science, the Earth may be home to "shadow life," a second creation of organisms that make up an unnoticed realm of "life as we don't know it," according to Paul Davies of Arizona State University, a cosmologist and theorist of extraterrestrial life.
Such "weird life" would never have been identified by scientists because the techniques we use for studying microbes are based on the familiar biological processes that drive the living things we understand, Davies told the American Association for the Advancement of Science conference in Chicago on Saturday.
The identification of such life on Earth could aid efforts to find life on Mars or elsewhere in the solar system.
A second terrestrial creation would also indicate that life arises easily when the conditions are right, suggesting that it is common throughout the universe.
The search for aliens should thus begin at home in a "mission to Earth," Davies said."
STAY TUNED--HERE IS SOMETHING RELATED I FOUND JUST NOW!!
"NEW ARTIFICIAL DNA POINTS TO ALIEN LIFE"
"The wild biochemistry finding, described to a small group of reporters Saturday at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, offers ideas about new types of life for scientists to look for beyond our planet, or even possibly hidden on our planet.
"Unless it happens to shoot at you with a ray gun, the life that you encounter off of Earth will not necessarily have same biochemistry as us," Benner said."
THERE IS MORE--It starts off that "In a Chicago Lab they have a beaker with I believe it said 4 OZ of artificial DNA--This is on the FOX Sceintific Channel, part of the news but on another page. (If anyone but me is interested.)
Imagine Smallville may be a forerunner to a real-life story.
