good idea SMALLVILLEFAN1, since they already had Chistopher reeves (the best man of steel) and margot kidder as ex-lovers, having gene hackman as a lost luthor relative would be interesting.

I hear that the WB or something diddn't want Clark's mother Lara to be seen. When Clark was forced into the tub of Kryptonite the only thing that the producers were able to show was the hands and backs of the characters.
