Poor Chloe--now she has to loCk up instead of hook up with Davis to keep him from his destiny--killing Clark. How will this plan end? It looks like she has made a choice that will be an unending separation from her former life--How can she get out of this without risking Clark? The writers have a job to do!

That was a pretty good episode last night. Glad to see they haven't forgotten the Kents ever existed. I hope when Doomsday does finally clash with Clark they at least take a whole episode for awesome fighting superhero style. None of this wait forever for a 5 minute fight jazz. Better be huge. __________________

Chloe made an impossible choice, but based on her reasoning and the situation, the right one.
Davis doesn't want to be Doomsday and he showed how badly by choosing to die instead of carrying on. Chloe and Davis are both aware that Doomsday's top priority is killing Clark. Chloe and Davis also have no other way that they're aware of to stop Doomsday, except for Chloe's 'power', whatever that might be this week. I'm not usually an advocate for sacrifice, but her decision would appear to be the only one she could have made to not only save Clark but the whole world.
According to standard fiction, not a bad choice at all. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

I think Clark should be let in on Davis being alive. Perhaps he could go to the Fortress and dig up some kind of cure. __________________

hm...point taken Pak, but Tim's right. Clark should be in the loop. __________________"Any man can overcome adversity. If you truly want to test a man's character, give him power."

Maybe it was just me but it seemed like the writers are trying to make Chloe more independant from Clark-especially noted when Clark interrupted her and Davis. I also remember numerous times when she let nobody else in on when Clark was having 'Clark problems' as part of what she deems to be a confidant or just a friend. She's also excluded him before from other people having problems and when he's found out and asked her why she didn't tell him, it's been repeatedly to tell him to back off and respect others' privacy the same way he's wanted his respected. Let's also remember the number of blowups they've had with each other checking up on each other, like when Chloe was doing a report on him back in school and uncovered some painful details about his 'adoption'. This is also the girl who once had the power to make others tell her the truth after an incident at a LutherCorp plant, so she knows very well about privacy from that angle as well. All that and her idea of protecting Clark, it does make sense. A sad self imprisonment, but heroicly done. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. I understand privacy sure, but Clark deserves to know his mortal enemy is alive and ready to try and kill him at a moment's notice. I think if I was Clark I wouldn't be too happy with a friend that wouldn't let me in on that kind of secret. Besides Clark is the only one that could possibly help Davis on a permanent basis. Chloe hanging around Davis 24 hours a day isn't going to work in the long run, and all Davis has to do is lose it for one second and Chloe is a goner. __________________

Ya know---Chloe, resoursceful as she is, may have a plan that no-one could possibly know (some hidden powers that she hasn't told anyone) that could get Doomsday incapacitated and separate from Davis--even a way, where there is supposedly none possible--to kill Doomsday. Ya can't put anything past our Chloe--and I still say --she HAS a thing for Davis and he for her. WHO says we know all there is to know about Chloe's character???? P.S. "Only The Shadow Knows" Hee Hee
