Hey pak and everyone else, did you notice all of them had the same symbol on the left lapel of their jacket? The white diamonds? They're all same as the pendant Lex put into the black ball like structure to "control" clark.

Hadn't noticed them until you pointed it out Aero-good catch.
I don't recall the symbol Lex used exactly, but I believe that was connected to Veritas. If the symbol on their jackets is exactly the same, we can make the assumption that the people Tess hires are actually an extension of that group. To make a larger leap of faith, we would have justification that not only is Lex still alive, but he caused the rebellion tess is about to face, and we may likely see him in the season finale.
If we bring it back down to a more realistic take, maybe Tess was playing with a Bedazzler one day... __________________

lol
No, i mean it was a black 5 sided diamond pendant with 4 smaller 4 sided diamonds in it which first appeared in the episode Quest. they're the same, and the black ball makes an appearence in the preview for next week.
Here's a picture:
what is the link... __________________

There's no way Tess should have that thing unless Lex wanted her to-it should be somewhere rolling along underneath the fortress. I am now expecting to see Lex in the finale(and I really hope the right actor is playing the part if this is true).
If they do intend on bringing back Lex, then we might just be saying a farewell to Tess after all-as pretty and entertaining as the lady is, having her around would be redundant. Not to mention her selling his company to Ollie might have upset him just a little as well.
The only other possibilities for bringing that item back around are people somehow connected with Veritas. We never did see Jason Teague actually die did we? The meteor hit the house and the Kents got dug out and almost as an afterthought did they mention he got killed.(not that they'd pull Jensen Ackles off Supernatural to do so, but I'm just rambling anyways).
Lastly, just as something of a brainstorming 'what if' session- What if the Legion members didn't take all of Brainiac with them? On that note, one of them is coming back for the episode-could be a chance for a tagalong there. Bringing back Brainiac instead of lex would actually keep Tess around as well-those two don't overlap at all.
Now as I'm rereading that all...as much as I loved the character of Lex and everything Mr Rosenbaum brought to the show...I'm definitely warm toward having a full season of Brainiac and Tess to batter around Clark like a cat toy.
We shall see. __________________

Maybe Jensen Ackles could guest star on a episode or two. __________________
As much as I would enjoy seeing Lex or Brainy return, my gut says the surprise guest is going to be someone totally new, at least to smallville. __________________

WOW good eye, I didn't even see that before. Glad you pointed that out I would've never seen it.

Who was that talking to her? Was that Zod or Jor-el?
Why does Clark have to give Green Arrow such a hard time? Gee whiz, Doomsday is after all going around killing people. Not everybody has superpowers to protect themselves after all.
How could Tess be so evil as to kill those super freaks? No way I'd work for her.
Pretty cool show. I knew that wasn't Chloe though all along. I knew she was a shape shifter. __________________
Awesome seeing Livewire, Parasite, Neutron, and Plastique. Too bad we couldn't see Neutron actually use his power.
Green Arrow is a "the end justifies the mean" type of person. Clark is the opposite. This gets in the way of everything. He's showed mercy to even his fiercest enemies, something we, when it comes down to it, probably couldn't do. If Clark is going to become Superman, that icon we all look up to, then he can't sacrifice those ideologies.
Don't know who was talking, my guess is Zod from the preview...AND DID NO ONE HEAR THE VOICE SAY "KANDOR"? __________________

Something in Clark is going to have to change in order for him to defeat Doomsday...
But what if...Clark doesn't defeat Doomsday, rather...sealing him away in like a Kryptonian prison cage (not the Phantom Zone) which would lead to the "Superman: Doomsday" movie...
But here's a question that's going to be interesting to answer: WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO TESS??????? I don't want her to die!!!! She's too hot to die!!!! __________________

This is the season finale...one death was sujpposed to be metaphorical...and Clark was supposed todie against doomsday
...maybe clark will die? __________________

Clark dying wouldn't be a metaphor- a tragedy or a prophesy or considering it comes close to the source material(all things considered) you might call that an homage.
I was thinking the metaphoric death would either be the Jor-El persona in the fortress(maybe we finally find out it's reall been Zod all this time?), or maybe the whole structure itself. We now also have the black kryptonite splitting of Davis and Doomsday coming up(and it's been reported elsewhere that Sam Witwer will not be rejoining the cast next season), so it might have something to do with that. Now we also have the mention of Kandor-this is a whole new chapter in the saga. Consider that if this shrunken city from the comics is introduced that Clark would no longer be the last son of a dead planet-that could also be considered a metaphoric death of sorts(even though it really strecthes the boundaries of good taste in a spoiler).
Also a thought about that mention of Kandor; Is there any way possible for Clark's uncle to return? Kara's dad may be the one. You heard it here first. __________________

I've seen speculation in a few other places that the voice of the orb belonged to something called the Eradicator from the comics-perhaps someone here is familiar with this character(?) and could ruminate on this idea? (Not that wikipedia isn't helpful, but someone's personal knowledge might help a bit more). __________________

... it's possible given Doomsday is the villain, but I kinda doubt they'd bring him in. __________________

Quote: n its original form, the Eradicator resembled a stylized small rocket. Its top section was a prolate spheroid, which exuded a blue glow and was approximately three times the size of an egg.
and if you follow the 'prolate spheroid' link, the pic shown is...
coincidence?????? me thinks not!!!!!!! __________________
