I know for a fact that Smallville is the first movie, tv show, comic, novel or superman story ever to have Smallville amd Metroplis both in Kansas. Tim, you might be able to clarify this for us but didn't Lois and Clark have Metroplis somewhere on the eastern seaboard, like New Hampshire or Connecticut. Seems like I read that from a comic book writer or editors commentary. Also if memory serves me right when Spiderman and Superman teamed up together back in the 70's for that particular book it was revealed that New York and Metropolis were right next to each other. I could be wrong about that, but that's what I remember anyway. I've always been a little confused on the decision to have Metropolis in Kansas on Smallville. That might actually be the only thing I wish was different on the show.
