I was thinking maybe they should go a little unconventional with the next Superman movie and just go ahead and team him up with Green Lantern or Batman. Just make sure Superman is clearly shown as the main hero of course. Maybe send Superman on a mission for the Justice League and have various cameos.
Maybe there should be a segment where Superman fights some villain like Darkseid on his home turf away from Earth. There could be lots more mass destruction that way.
