Just how big of an entrance does Welling plan to make? Ain't It Cool News reports that Welling might arrive in a blue, red and cape-less Superman costume to be donned by Smallville's Clark for the first time this season. Reps for the CW and Smallville producer Warner Bros. Television did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment on the report.
This much is certain, however: On Sunday morning at 10:30 PT, Welling — who is now a coexecutive producer on the CW series — will join show runners Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson, as well as castmates Allison Mack, Erica Durance, Cassidy Freeman, Justin Hartley and Callum Blue (aka "Zod"), at the panel session.
The Smallville session will treat fans to exclusive clips from Season 9, which premieres Friday, Sept. 25, and feature an audience Q&A about what lies ahead. Comic-book writer and onetime Smallville scribe Jeph Loeb will moderate the panel. __________________
As soon as I got to the Convention Center, I ran up to the waiting line for the Smallville Panel about an hour before it started. Unfortunately, the people there said that the room was allready filled to capacity.
Aww man dang! That sucks, people must have had to wait 2 hours just to get in. I'm not sure I'd have that kind of patience. Say how hard is it to find comics, are the comic tables super crowded?
How long do you have to wait to get inside the con? __________________
It takes a while for attendees but since I was a volunteer, I walked right in, got my badge and could enjoy the con. ofcourse my badge doesn't get me infront of panel lines and such.
There are 2 major areas for the convention center, the exhibit hall, and the rooms. The exhibit hall is a giant room filled with booths and exhibits. many of which are filled with Comics, t-shirts, posters, toys, etc. the exhibit hall, as large as it is, is a movng mosh pit. with no one there, it takes maybe 10 minutes to walk at a fast pace from one end to the other. with everyone there, plan on it being up to half an hour to get all the way through. most people, if they want to get to a certain end, use the outside hallways since there are large double doors every 50 feet or so. __________________

search "Smallville season 9 video" on your web browser, there's rough leaked footage from comic-con on you-tube shows clark in black trench coat &silver "S" on his chest.
i reckon this look will be short lived in the season though.

Found one, kind of hard to tell what's going on though.
Here's a thought.. Maybe Dark Clark isn't "Clark" at all. Told chloe he wasn't sure how he survived the explosion with Doomsday. Maybe his new Darker persona is some kind of clone (like in doomsday cartoon) this would explain turning away from his friends & the new Black & silver outfit he's wearing while maybe "real" clark is recovering in the fortress !

Hmm or the Martian Manhunter brought him to the Fortress thinking him dead or almost dead. __________________

I made the photoshop myself,Pretty sure i believe the black outfit silver badge.Almost identical to Jorel in original Superman movie. The purple one looks fake to me (in smallville mythos Purple usually signifies EVIL, lex, lionel, possessed lana, bizarro,Zod) Though finding any Official pics is difficult.

LOL, nice work on getting the pictures posted from the web Aero!! Guess Tim didn't kill you after all!!
BTW, I was surprised to learn this was the first comic-con Tom attended and that he's now an exec-producer. I am grateful that he did NOT show up in costume though, street clothes are more - functional. __________________
