Up to this day, Smallville has aired 174 episodes. With Season 9 on the horizon, I think the season finale should be the 200th episode. This would truly be a milestone for Smallville. What do you guys think? __________________"Immortality! Take it! It's yours!" ~ Brad Pitt (Achillies) - Troy

Good idea, give it the usual 22 eps & then a 4 part Finale where he becomes Superman v Darkseid to finish the show off

Yeah. Smallville usually does 22 episodes per season, except for Season 7, which did 20 episodes and Season 2, which did 23. If they can do that, surely they can get 26, making the 200th episode the season finale. If that happens, it has to top EVERY season finale Smallville ever did in the past. __________________"Immortality! Take it! It's yours!" ~ Brad Pitt (Achillies) - Troy

Final EVER should be EPIC on a movie scale. No one "truly" important has ever died on Smallville ??, Though i wish Lana would (or become Wonder Woman would be a good twist )

i'm talking about when johnathan kent died in the 100th episode. it was supposed to be lana, but clark (w/ Jor-El's help) went back in time, saved her, but then johnathan became the sacrifice. __________________"Bravery is not something that you can learn." ~Phil Morris, a.k.a. I'd say johnathan's death was a pretty "important" death.
lana can't die either due to her continuage in the mythology, however smallville has brfoken it before so it's possible, but not probable.
lana becoming wonder woman has about as much chance as me getting a date for tonight. __________________"Any man can overcome adversity. If you truly want to test a man's character, give him power."

Jonathan kent dying was Supposed to happen, its Clarks first kick to embracing his destiny in all mythos versions .Other than lana being his 1st love there's nothing to KEEP her there & clark has to move on to lois... Saturn Girl (legion) did say Lana has a destiny all of her own??
Making her Wonder Woman though would be a good way of bringing her in to justice league & also have the whole Superman/Wonder Woman thing. Everyone knows they fancy each other but stay apart for the greater good,& would be good way of Not tying clark fulltime with justice league(would be more believable than killing Doomsday with an explosion )

no, not all mythologies of superman has Johnathan dying.
they're not going to make lana wonder woman. they're going to stick to DC roots, not go off their rocker so to speak. if they did do this, fans across the world would be angry beyond words--me one of them.
Lana's role in comics is a human superman. she works with aiding organizations with noble causes. i.e. Iris foundation in smallville
I know there was something between superman and wonderwoman at somepoint somewhere in the comics...I highly doubt it was on Earth 1 though.
Doomsday wasn't killed in the explosion, just buried deep under immoveable ground. __________________"Any man can overcome adversity. If you truly want to test a man's character, give him power."

these were just ideas i gave Not holy law. Seems the mythos they're using has jonathan dead,"Nothing on this earth can stop Doomsday" legion said (wouldn't he get stronger an dig out eventually?) the DC Roots doesn't have lex&clark friends, chloe or lois in smallville. I say in my 10 things i want to see "lex returns & kills Lana for the prometheus suit",the Wonder/lana thing was just an idea, i'm personally angry they kept her in this long. And smallville is kinda making its own mythos with nods to most previous aspects of superman not tying in perfectly with any really. lana & chloe ran the Isis foundation

Sorry for my abscence here folks. Aero, I think you're thinking about summer shows having 13 episodes (i.e. Burn Notice). LOL, I still have not watched the last half of season 8 of Smallville.
I think Aero's right on about his assessment of what the Smallville writers will do. They have shown some initiative in the past to show some creativity. However, here recently they have cow-towed to the powers that be over at DC. __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. As i remember it, the suit was made possible from "alien" DNA he extracted from the phantom (bizarro) so kryptonite would probably strengthen her Or have no effect at all
