As I said in our now massive spoilers thread which is over 66 pages now, I just caught this Mattro posted -
Quote:
Fan fave Geoff Johns ("Legion") will pen another episode this season — one that concerns the Justice Society of America.

I think this deserves it's own thread. Any news you all find out about this I want to know. I love the Justice Society of America

I still remember reading the All Star Squadron as a kid which was a 80's book about the adventures of the Justice Society during World War 2.

Hopefully, the story will incorporate WW2 and does justice both to the JSA and to that time period.

Will be very interesting to see which characters they use.

Could go back to the 50's when clark's father (Jor-el) visited Smallville & reveal there were people with abilities on earth even then, Though i think its more likely to be the true beginings/formation of Oliver's "Justice league" or where lois was zapped to.Justice League was originally called justice society right ??

Justice Society was really the Justice League in the 40's, but by the 60's they had formed the heroes in to the Justice League and revamped a lot of heroes. A couple of years later and they decide to give all those old JSA stories a place in DC history again and created the Earth-2, Earth-1 deal. Everything happened on an alternate earth with the JSA which could be an interesting aspect to follow on Smallville. We know Smallville pretty much does what they want so who knows what they will end up doing.
