RUBY SPEARS SUPERMAN
This Superman cartoon series appeared on CBS on Saturday mornings in the late 80's. I loved this Superman cartoon series, sadly it only lasted one season. After each episodes they showed a small short story called Superman Family Album it was about Clark Kent growing up in Smallville as a child, then as a teenager and lastly onto Clark becoming a man becoming Superman.

Awesome cartoon! I've got it on DVD. It's based a lot on John Byrne's revamp of the 80's that and the Superman movies.
I try to collect as many old superhero cartoon series as I can get my hands on especially anything to do with Superman. I'm kind of behind on Batman who has like a million cartoon series, but I'm getting there.
A newer series I highly recommend is Batman the Brave and the Bold it's a great blend of humor and action. Superman appears in a few episodes too. A lot of cool guest stars show up including one I was shocked to see, Space Ghost. __________________
