One of my all time favorite TV show stars died yesterday, Andy Griffith. He was 86. His Andy Griffith show was hugely popular in the 1960's finishing out at number one on it's last season, and still runs today in reruns. In the 80's he was also in a popular show about a lawyer called, Matlock. It was a decent show too, but not as re-watchable as the Andy Griffith Show.

R.I.P Andy! We ill miss you greatly. If more Sheriffs were like you out there the world would be a better place. You will be remembered forever!

My parents love the Andy Griffith show.  A sad day indeed.

It's interesting shows like Andy Griffith, the Munsters, Batman, Adventures of Superman, Gilligan's Island, Rifleman, F-troop, I Love Lucy were all canceled before I was even born, but those were some of my all time favorites growing up via daily re-runs.
