Why you should be excited for the Man of Steel…?
This is just a few reasons why I think people should be excited for this films and why I think people were put off from the start…
Why I think fans were put off from the start…
…I think fans got put off by the first image released of Henry Cavill as Superman… To be completely honest, it didn’t get me excited in the slightest… I’m not too sure what they wanted to achieve with the image. I think a more traditional Superman pose would have been better, a back shot, a flick of the hair, a flowing cape…. THAT would have got me and many other Superman fans excited….
…Christopher Nolan chipping in on the script…
Christopher Nolan has chipped in on the script for this film, now I haven’t talked to anyone who has said that they think Christopher Nolan’s adaption of Batman is sh*t. The reason is because we see another side to Batman that we hadn’t seen on the big screen before. Like I said chipped in, so Man of Steel, I am presuming, isn’t as dark as the Dark Knight films are. This is one Superman fan that is very excited about this film and wants to see a more realistic and maybe a bit darker film of the ‘Man of Steel’…
…How technology has changed since 2006…
…What I want to see, however, is what Zack Snyder will do for the Superman fans that want to see their favourite comic hero on screen, like they never have before with the technology we have now. I know that Superman returns was pretty awesome with the CGI and SFX, and that it was only released 2006, but that’s 6 years ago now… Each year film makers push the boundaries between film making and imagination… Another thing is that they finished filming ages ago. It’s taking them 3 years to make this film, a third of the time was filming and the rest is editing, CGI and SFX… Knowing it is taking this long… I am expecting and excited to see how good the effects are on superman lying…
…At the end of the day…
…it’s another Superman film on the big screen. It’s probably the most well-known and favourite Superhero of all time and it’s going to be on the big screen again… I don’t mind criticism AFTER watching a film… but when it’s your favourite superhero you should at least give it a chance… if you can’t with that… what can you do it with???
That ladies and gentlemen is why I’m excited for this film and why you should be too…
