Iron Man 3 filming postponed due to Robert Downey Jr. accident on set.
It would seem our very beloved Tony Stark actor, Robert Downey Jr., isn’t invicible after all. He has apparently hurt himself during film and has suffered an ankle injury. The delay shouldn’t change the release date in any way because they can always sort out editing and get all the Robert-less scenes out of the way for when he feels he is well enough to carry on filming. Disney has released an official statement on the subject confirming the incident.
This is the official statement that Disney (masters of Marvel) released:
Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates.

I am hope he is ok and recovers quickly, I can't wait to see Iron Man 3!
