IGN FilmForce recently revealed that Focus Features' biopic of the late Superman star George Reeves was undergoing a title change. Initially titled Truth, Justice & The American Way, Focus was forced to drop the Man of Steel's motto after Warner Bros. threatened to sue.
So now Focus has settled on a new title: Hollywoodland. The new title is confirmed in this press release, as well as at Focus Features' homepage.
Hollywoodland stars Ben Affleck, Adrien Brody, Diane Lane and Bob Hoskins. It was helmed by Allen Coulter (The Sopranos) from a screenplay by Paul Bernbaum and Howard Korder.
The film is slated for release later this year.
I can't wait to see this movie!
