yes, and then Clark has to save Mayberry from Zod who decided that the town has been making the world happy for too long.
Clark decides to give Zod Aunt Bee's old pickles which destroys the evil Kryptonian's stomache digestive system worse than swallowing a bucket full of kryptonite.

Aaron Ashmore Joins The Cast Of Smallville
TV Guide's Michael Ausiello has revealed that Aaron Ashmore, possibly best known for playing "Troy Vandegraff" on Veronica Mars, will be joining the cast of Smallville in a very important new role - so important that, at least for now, we're not posting it on this main page because it's a big SPOILER!

Aaron's twin brother Shawn appeared on Smallville in Season One as Eric Summers in the episode "Leech." Interestingly, Shawn was at one time seriously rumored to be playing this very same role in Superman Returns.

UPDATED 7/11/06: "Secretagentman" strikes again with some spoilage: One of the characters being cast for the episode is "Orlando Block," an unbalanced commando who kidnaps Lex. Initially it seems he is torturing Lex to learn all his secrets, but actually he is the employee of a mysterious mastermind.

BIG NEWS! Aaron Ashmore has been cast in the role of Jimmy Olsen, and it is said he WILL be a love interest for Chloe. It sounds VERY likely that this is the "Jimmy" that Chloe mentioned in "Unsafe."

Yeah but after what she said about him in "Unsafe", its too bad they're having her be with someone she doesn't care about! Makes me wonder why they put in the big kiss between Clark and Chloe in the season finale???? Oh well, writers generally do not write want the fans want to happen, but what they think is best for the show.
BTW Mattro, you did not state that Aaron Ashmore was going to be playing Jimmy specifically!

Casting notices have gone out for the role of a character named "Raya," who is an assistant of Jor-El's who helps Clark get out of the Phantom Zone. It sounds as though Raya will give Clark a crystal that will help him to stop Lex/Zod.
