He's done it a few times Tim, I'm guessing they don't have him fly more often b/c of the time/money it takes to do it right so that it looks really good. __________________The Bible is so powerful. Supergirl Spin-Off In The Works?
POSTED 7-27-07
Smallville adds Laura Vandervoort as Kal-El's Kryptonian cousin Kara Zor-El, aka Supergirl. But might there be more planned for her character than just a Smallville guest run?
An interview with Vandervoort's grandfather implies that following her Smallville stint, Kara will be going off to her own series.
Smallville's creators and the show's publicity have not said anything about a spin-off, which is why we're putting this one on Rumorville for now.
What's Up With Kristin?
POSTED 7-6-07
One of the hottest topics over the summer is what is up with Kristin Kreuk's Smallville contract. This discussion has been further fueled by E! Online saying they're still "negotiating" about her future on the show.
The fact of the matter is this: Chances are, if a decision has been made regarding Kristin, it was probably made a while back. Kristin IS on the Season 7 cast list, so unless that's a fake spoiler put out there to throw us off the scent, she'll be back. Also, remember that this time three years ago, Allison Mack was telling fans at Comic-Con that Chloe had departed the show.
The producers and the network are probably going to want us to keep wondering, because hey, it's publicity. Who knows - maybe we won't have a definitive answer until the season itself begins.

I got somethings.

Question: Having to wait until Aug. 1 for a new Ask Ausiello is cruel, but I'll forgive you if you promise me there will be no Lex-Lois romance on Smallville.— Jeff
Ausiello: Um, ewww. Between the new "Daily Planet" editor and the return of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Lois' dance card will be plenty full this season. Meanwhile, the big news out of Comic-Con was the announcement that Dean Cain will be guest-starring in Episode 4 as a villain. Also, the Season 7 clips that were shown at the panel apparently confirm that Chloe is very much alive.

Helen Slater as Lara?
POSTED 8-1-07
A new interview on the Newsday website contains some very interesting tidbits and comments from Helen Slater, the actress who played Supergirl in the 1984 movie of the same year.
Most notable in this article was this: "Smallville's producers are looking to bring me back, as Supergirl's aunt," Slater says. Now... either Clark Kent has an Earth-bound aunt that we don't know about, or we may be seeing Lara, Clark's mother from the planet Krypton.
As usual, no announcements have been made from The Powers That Be, so this one's sticking at Rumorville for now.
Also in the Newsday article, Ms. Slater talks about her movie, and how she hopes Smallville does a better job with Kara Zor-El. "The character was just a female replica of Superman, so [it] never made a viable story," Slater says. "It didn't really tap into what Supergirl was experiencing. Hopefully Smallville gets it right."

Now, not to mean, but what is it about Canada?? Look and see what I mean.
Early Season 7 Start In Canada?
POSTED 8-2-07
Some fans have reported seeing an advertisement on Canada's SPACE Channel saying that Smallville Season 7 would begin on their station on September 23, four days before the U.S. premiere on Sept. 27.
Now it COULD be mistaken (after all, this is the same station that said Season 5 was the last)... but it could be for real. If true, we'll just have to be really jealous of our friends up North.

Also, something to look for on the selves.
At the Comic-Con International in San Diego, prototypes of the upcoming second wave of Smallville action figures were shown.
Figures will include Smallville's Justice League - Clark, Green Arrow, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Impulse. Look for them in May 2008!

Quote: At the risk of sounding dumb, why are the action figures solid colors? I would say because they are prototypes of what the figures are to look like as far as modeling goes, they did not go in and do all the detailed artwork to get the colors right. I remember they did the same thing with the 20th Anniversary release of the Optimus Prime figure, it was all grey. I believe they do this as a means to help spread word of mouth about upcoming merchandise. In a word - marketing. __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf.
