Rats, that's twice this week!!  The joke was, that the stereotypical supermodel has such a poor personality/character that they naturally make a perfect villan.

- UPDATED 8/22/07 (Thanks S.A.M.): Lionel is being held in the cabin by a strange woman named Marilyn. It starts out very 'Misery' like with Lionel being shackled to the bed and sedated. Lionel does manage to escape but is struck in the head while running through the woods. The person who hits him - the same person who has been paying Marilyn to keep him in the cabin - may surprise you. (Here's a clue: The initials of this person are L.L.)
- Lionel is saved by Lex (guess that eliminates one suspect), though Lionel accuses Lex of being the one who had him held. Before they get away, Marilyn pulls a gun on them. She is struck in the head (for a second time in one episode!) by Lois, who had been following Lex.

A Small Spoiler Regarding Dean Cain on Smallville!
Lois & Clark star Dean Cain is guest starring on the fourth episode of Smallville's new season, and we've learned a small detail about his appearance.

Apparently his character sports a goatee. How Vandal Savage of him.

Thanks to "Luv2C" for leading us to that info.

Vandal Savage that's the guy that lives forever. I think immortal stories are almost as interesting as time travel stories of which you know I like.

Major rumors!!

Kevin Sorbo Coming To Smallville?
POSTED 9-2-07

At the recent DragonCon convention in Atlanta, it was allegedly said by one-time Hercules actor Kevin Sorbo that he would soon be appearing on Smallville. He didn't specify what the role would be, but we'd say chances are very good that he might be playing Zor-El, Kryptonian father to Kara (aka Supergirl) in the episode "Lara."

Sorbo has a Superman connection, having been one of the final contenders for the role of Clark Kent on Lois & Clark.

James Marsters Returning As Brainiac?
POSTED 8-31-07

At a recent appearance, actor James Marsters revealed that a return to Smallville might be coming in his future.

It has been hinted by Smallville's creators that a foe from the past of Clark and Lex would be returning, and that they might have to work together to stop him - could Brainiac be it?

Right now Marsters is filming a story arc for the series Without A Trace, so it's likely that if he does return, it will be in the latter half of Season 7.

Stay tuned...

In case I haven't made it clear. I desperately want a return of Brainiac. Good news on both accounts(even if rumors).

Nice find of Kevin Sorbo maybe playing Zor-El.

How did you miss Helen Slater reportedly definite as Lara in the same episode?

Have you heard of Andromeda?

Was a decent sci-fi show. Didn't last long enough though. Suffered the same fate as Firefly.

Yeah--I watch it.(Andromeda)  But I've seen the re-runs of the re-runs and the show dissolved into nothingness near the end when Sorbo took over the show and made it all about his character. I hope he appears on Smallville as a reg drop-in,-- or best,a regular.
