WHOA!!!
Episode #7-15: "Veritas" Early 2008 Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Jane Seymour (Genevieve Teague, unconfirmed) UPDATED 12/4/07: Roles currently being cast for "Veritas" include Robert Queen, Young Jason Teague, Young Oliver Queen, and Young Patricia Swann. Do I smell a flashback? And why not just get the guy who played a younger version of Dean on Supernatural? - (Thanks to S.A.M. for this spoiler) Yes, it is a flashback, and the villain from Smallville's past that might be back is Genevieve Teague. She's is the casting sides at the very least. The scene in question is a flashback to when Lionel, Swann, the Queens, and the Teagues were all working together in the late 1980s. Found something.
When we last saw Kara, in the "Blue" episode of Smallville, she was coming in out of the rain in Detroit, of all places, with no idea who she was, where she was or how she got there. But Smallville fans -- and fans of actress Laura Vandervoort, who joined The CW series this season -- shouldn't fret. You haven't seen the last of Kara. At the recent Wizard World Texas, Vandervoort confirmed for The Continuum that she's on board for 14 episodes -- Writers Guild strike resolution permitting -- for Season 7 of the show. And you probably will see her on the show again in a new episode by February. The Continuum sat down briefly with Vandervoort after her Wizard World panel for a catch-up session on the show. It was her first convention appearance since being introduced as a Smallville cast member at Comic-Con International last summer. Following is the interview: The Continuum: Having visited the set, it struck me how quickly things move and how there was a strong comfort level among everybody. Was it much of an adjustment for you joining the show? Vandervoort: They're so well-oiled, I didn't think I would fit in. But, everyone was cool and down to earth, and I was really lucky that there were no big heads or anything like that. Everyone welcomed me to the show. They took the time to tell me how things worked, the scheduling and things like that. And where the sets were! I would get lost. They'd see me and go, "Laura, are you lost again?" The Continuum: Some of those locations are really tucked away. Vandervoort: That's probably why they do it, too. It doesn't look like a studio. The Continuum: How has it been working with Tom Welling and the cast? Vandervoort: Tom is great. He's really good to work with. We crack jokes and we kind of have the same sense of humor, which is the nice. So that relaxed me a bit, because he is the lead of the show. With Erica (Durance, who plays Lois), we're very similar. She took me under her wing and made sure that I was OK because I'm the new girl and she's been through that. And Kristin (Kreuk, who plays Lana) was really, really sweet and I went out to dinner with her. And Allison (Mack, who plays Chloe), I knew her from before. The Continuum: I've asked other cast members about this. Have you realized you're becoming part of a pretty big mythos? Vandervoort: That is neat, being up there with Helen Slater. I mean, not "up there." But to have my name next to hers as another Supergirl, I'm very lucky. There are so many girls they could have picked to do this job, and I'm very glad they picked me. The Continuum: Your lines were pretty long for autographs... Vandervoort: The fans seemed happy I came. They know that I am busy or whatever, but I will always be there for the fans. I wish I could get a chance to talk to everyone. They were all very nice and welcoming. It was nice to hear because you don't always know how you're being received. The Continuum: So where are you with your character right now in terms of story? Can you offer anything? Vandervoort: No, because I haven't done anything since the last thing that aired. (laughs) I've been working on my other show (Instant Star) and they had me have a break and go finish my other show and come back. I don't know what's been going on, to tell you the truth. I haven't read the scripts because they don't send them to me if I'm not in them. So I'll catch up when I get back. The Continuum: When was the last time you were on set? Vandervoort: Just when I did the outside scene in the rain, so it's been a while. The Continuum: Are you locked into a number of episodes? Vandervoort: I'm locked into 14. It was less, but they keep upping it, which is nice. So right now, it's 14 out of 22. The Continuum: And as far as next season? Vandervoort: I don't know about that. That's up to them. I know they have another season that they'd like to do. It just depends on how this season goes in the ratings and things like that. The Continuum: You're not contracted? Vandervoort: No, right now it's just the 14. But I'd love to do another season. Source: Devoted to Smallville & Comics Continuum. __________________ "Here comes the (BOOM!)

OH...MY GOD!!!
Question: It's been forever since you gave us some scoop about Smallville. Got anything? Please? Pretty please? — Angie Ausiello: I can confirm that Jane Seymour is returning for the final pre-strike episode (No. 15), which probably won't air until February. It's safe to say she'll appear in a flashback since Lana stabbed her to death in Season 4. I think it's also safe to say said flashback will finally reveal both why her character was such a raging ***** and what connection she has to a certain Smallville villain (cough, Brainiac, cough). Episode #7-10: "Persona" Early 2008 Written By: Holly Henderson & Don Whitehead Directed By: Todd Slavkin Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Michael Cassidy (Grant Gabriel), Marc McClure (Dax-Ur) - UPDATED 12/14/07: By now you've seen the conclusion of "Gemini," and it appears that Bizarro has taken Clark's place! How and why? We're going to have to wait a few months to see! - That "so happy I could fly" line? Bizarro. (Sorry!) - Bizarro will want Brainiac's help to be able to remain "Clark" forever. - Expect some father/"son" interaction between Lionel and "Julian." - Clark is not going to be happy when he finds out how smoothly things have been going between Bizarro and Lana. - Chloe will be the first to notice that Clark has been behaving strangely and is not remembering things that the real Clark should know. - Lex's new business venture, as revealed in "Gemini," is as the new owner of the Daily Planet. A little Q&A with Krisitn & Allison.
As stars of one of The CW's long-running bona fide hits, Kristin Kreuk and Allison Mack--who play Lana Lang and Chloe Sullivan on Smallville, respectively--don't exactly have a lot of spare time on their hands. But that's not keeping them from starting new ventures. Kristin Kreuk When the two best friends aren't at early-morning shoots or script reads, they are hard at work starting up a new Web-based project geared for college students. They're looking to do some thorough research before anything goes live, and are asking their fans to help them out by filling out a quick online survey. Smallville is in its seventh season on the air, and has built an incredibly dedicated fan base over that time. Both Kreuk's and Mack's characters have been on the show since the beginning, which makes them the elder stateswomen of Smallville University. TV.com spoke with the two about Smallville and its growing cast, their new business, and what it's like on set. TV.com: What can you tell us about the rest of season seven? Don't give away any spoilers, but I hear there's going to be a few big things coming up for both your characters. Allison Mack: There are some big things coming up for both of us. There's a lot of girl power happening within the next couple of episodes. Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, it's true, Allison and I are working a lot together. Allison Mack with Smallville costar Tom Welling. Allison Mack: Kristin and I are working together more than we've ever worked together before, and we're spending some time working with Laura, who plays Supergirl. So, you're going to see three chicks running around taking care of business, which is a first for Smallville. TV.com: Well, talk is swirling that if season eight happens, it will be Smallville's last. I know all good things must come to an end, but are you guys kind of sad to see it go, or are you ready to move on? Allison Mack: I feel like I have mixed emotions about it. I think that it's strange, because it feels like it's where I've grown up. But on the other hand, it's like playing the same character for eight years, [so] I'm ready to do something new. A part of me is really excited about the possibilities of my next step in my life, and then another part of me is really sad to see it go, because it does feel like family now, for sure, and I will miss everyone greatly. Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, I definitely feel like we've been on the show for a long time, and I'm ready to move on, but I love the people that we work with, we've got such a great crew and people on cast and crew, and they're amazing, so I'll miss them a lot. TV.com: You guys talked about Laura earlier, and there was a lot of hype when people found out Supergirl was joining the show. What was it like on the set and were there any catfights? Kristin Kreuk: Sadly, we have no gossip for you. We're actually an incredibly wholesome set. There aren't a whole lot of catfights that happen. In fact, I don't think there's ever been a cat fight that has happened on our show. Laura Vandervoot is awesome. She's a sweet girl. She's one of probably the sweetest girls I have ever met. She's lovely and she adds a lot to the show. She's got, like, an innocence about her, but it's really, really cute. Yeah, she's folded into our cast very nicely, and I think every time a new character is added to the show it changes the energy on set, and that's really fun. It livens everything up and keeps it fresh. So I think we were all really excited to invite her in. TV.com: When most shows add characters, the shows get cluttered. But with Smallville, cast additions just seems to make things better. Do you guys feel the same way? Allison Mack: I do, and I think probably that is a tribute to the writers and their ability to really juggle all of our story lines. And then another part of that, I think, is also the fact that it feels like--and I can't speak for everybody on the cast, but I know for me--it's very much a team and I've made a very conscious decision to keep participating in that way. And so, when we add another character to the show, I don't feel like I'm having to out-act them. I'm kind of thinking, "Oh, he's another teammate." So, I think that because of that, it really allows for a very collaborative and conducive working space, that maybe transfers on camera, I don't know. Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, I don't think there's a big ego kind of competition thing that goes on on our set at all. So it's really lovely when new people come on. TV.com: Correct me if I'm wrong, but both of your characters at some point have seemingly been blown up. What's your reaction to reading that part of the script? Allison Mack Allison Mack: I've died I think about seven [times] and now with my new power I continue to die on a regular basis. So, it's kind of fun. At first I was really stoked to get to play a death scene because I thought that that would be really cool. And now I find it's just like, "Oh, I died again." And it's like an extra 25 minutes in makeup! We kind of know ahead of time what the death is about. So, like if they're going to blow us up, we know why they're blowing us up, and we may not know what's going to happen, or how they're going to clear up the story line, but we know that it's not actually our death. And if it is, we know that, too. TV.com: Let's talk about your new project, your Web site. Why don't you tell us in your own words what it's all about? Allison Mack: Yeah, Kristin and myself, and an actress named Nicki Clyne from Battlestar Galactica and another actress named Sarah Edmonson; the four of us are designing something geared specifically towards college students. So we've created a survey that we are hoping to get as many college students as possible to participate in, and it's just there for us to gather information about each of the different students across the United States so that we can really figure out a way to gear the Web site we're designing towards the college students in the most effective way. Kristin Kreuk: And really provide them with something that they're looking for and something that they want. Allison Mack: Yeah, so the survey that we designed is really fun and quirky, and we're trying to get as many people to take it as possible so that we can get as much information as possible, so that we can be thorough when we're building and designing our company. Kristin Kreuk: And then if they fill it out they can ask one of us a question and we'll select a bunch of questions for us to answer, Allison and I, and Nikki and Sarah, so they can just submit that as well. TV.com: What do you guys want to know most about the fans and the college students around this country? Allison Mack: What are your interests, where do your values lie, what kinds of things do you spend your money on, what kinds of things do you spend your time doing, what do you want to see in the world, and how would you like to see that happen. [We're] really just trying to get to know where college students are and where their brains are, and what it is that's important to them right now. Because I think it's really important to recognize how valuable and how effective college students are in the world. We're really building communication in the community so that we can all work together to make the next generation the most exciting and productive and uplifting generation as possible. TV.com: So is that pretty much what the final Web site is going to be about? Sort of a resource for how college students can help out the world? Kristin Kreuk gets serious with Welling. Kristin Kreuk: I think we're sort of fleshing all of that out. And part of the survey is about gathering information so that we can figure that out in a more concrete way. But yeah, that is the basis of what the Web site is and what the Web site will have a lot to do with. TV.com: With both of your busy schedules, were you guys able to have any sort of normal college experience? Allison Mack: No. Another reason why we're needing this survey, in a way, because all of the experience that we have in college is on Smallville. Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, we kind of have PhDs in Smallville, Allison and I both. TV.com: So, no keggers and college basketball games. Allison Mack: Yeah, not so much. Kristin Kreuk: Not as much. I can hypothesize what that would feel like, but I've never actually done it myself. So, I'm definitely interested in gathering more information about that from the real life people. TV.com: Is this the first project you two have worked on together outside of Smallville? Kristin Kreuk: It is. TV.com: Are you guys going to get sick of each other? You two see each other all the time and are practically best friends. Allison Mack: We are. Kristin is probably more family than a friend. No, we're very, very, very close and we've been through a lot together. And so I think it's just this business venture is the next evolution of our friendship. I'm excited about it. Kristin Kreuk: Me too. TV.com: Is there anything else you guys want to tell us about the site, or anything you want to put out there? Allison Mack: No, just check out my blog, because that would be another [inaudible] and there's also--you can check out my short film, and if you want to donate money to help to support raising money to finish it! Because it cost a lot of money to finish a short film. Kristin Kreuk: Yeah, and really, like, everyone fill out the survey. It'll be a lot of fun and we can get as much information as we can and get something out there that everybody's really excited about. I think that'd be really awesome. TV.com: Thank you both for speaking with us. Allison Mack: Thank you! Kristin Kreuk: Thank you! Sources: Devoted to Smallville & TV.com. __________________ "Here comes the (BOOM!)

Episode #7-10: "Persona" Early 2008
Written By: Holly Henderson & Don Whitehead Directed By: Todd Slavkin Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Michael Cassidy (Grant Gabriel), Marc McClure (Dax-Ur) - UPDATED 12/22/07: Yes, the real Clark does come back at some point in "Persona." - For those of you who aren't Doctor Who fans who'd get the "Professor Yana" reference... basically, like Yana's watch kept away his true nature, Dax-Ur has a blue kryptonite ring that's allowing him to be a mere human. Episode #7-13: "Hero" Early 2008 Directed By: Michael Rohl Guest Stars: Sam Jones III (Pete Ross) - UPDATED 12/21/07: Pete's stretching ability comes from meteor-laced chewing gum. Sure it's cheesy, but it sounds like Old School Smallville to us! Episode #7-14: "Traveler" Early 2008 UPDATED 12/23/07: Aaron Douglas of Battlestar Galactica fame has booked a guest role on Smallville, which we are assuming is the role of the previously-mentioned "Pierce." Douglas has actually appeared on Smallville before, in the first season episode "Obscura." UPDATED 12/21/07: Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk have said in recent interviews that they'd gotten to work together again, and that there's an episode where they work with Laura Vandervoort and the three of them (Chloe, Lana, and Kara) have a sort of "girl power team up." This is the episode they were talking about. Episode #7-15: "Veritas" Early 2008 Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Jane Seymour (Genevieve Teague) UPDATED 12/19/07: TV Guide's Mike Ausiello says that Jane Seymour will indeed be returning as Genevieve Teague for a flashback. Episode #7-15: "Veritas" Early 2008 Guest Stars: James Marsters (Brainiac), Jane Seymour (Genevieve Teague) UPDATED 12/29/07: Even though Clark and Lana have some bumps after the whole Bizarro thing, it sounds like they will still be in a relationship by season's end. - Kristin Kreuk has implied in a CW interview that the season ends on a cliffhanger, should things end with episode #15. The big cliffhangers, and the episode itself, deal more with the mythology of the series than the romantic relationships. There's a lot of big stuff on the way though... Source: Kryptonsite.

Great find! From the sounds of it season 8 is it.
I put the pics on our server so it won't suck the bandwidth from devoted to smallville. I had to shrink them just a little to save them though. Hope it didn't hurt the quality of the images too much. __________________ |

Sad to hear they are going to work glasses into the mix. Well, at least they are avoiding the suit!! __________________ The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. It's to outline even the simplest scriptures that can mean so much in building yourself up.

THIS...JUST IN!!!
It Appears We Have Our Patricia Swann... The official website of actress Gina Holden has revealed that she has recently booked a role on Smallville which began filming this week. As the episode "Traveler" is now shooting, that makes it VERY likely that Holden is playing the role of Patricia Swann, daughter of Dr. Virgil Swann from the show's early seasons. Holden already has a Smallville connection, too, as she plays the love interest of one time "Whitney" Eric Johnson on the SciFi Channel's Flash Gordon series. We don't know yet how many episodes will feature Patricia, but "Traveler" will be the character's first appearance. Here's to confirm it!! Episode #7-14: "Traveler" Early 2008 Guest Stars: Gina Holden (Patricia Swann), Aaron Douglas (Pierce) UPDATED 1/4/08: Gina Holden's official website has revealed that she will be playing a role on Smallville that is now filming. We're assuming she will be playing Patricia Swann. Source: Kryptonsite. __________________ "Here comes the (BOOM!)
