I've been really lenient on the production team since the new season started. These spoilers are shaking my faith in the future of the series.
Quote: Lois suddenly finds she has superhuman powers.
not again.....(how many times are they going to keep doing this?)
Quote: Davis tells Chloe she is marrying the wrong man.
I hope we get to see that in Kryptonian code first... __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

Episode #8-8: "Bloodline" November 6, 2008
Written By: Caroline Dries
Directed By: Michael Rohl
Guest Stars: Laura Vandervoort (Kara)
UPDATED 10/17/08: Executive Producer Darren Swimmer has revealed in an interview with SciFi Magazine that Clark and Lois go to the Phantom Zone where they meet Kara. So, that "place Lois has never been before" is, indeed, the Phantom Zone. Mystery solved. How will she get out of remembering this one, though? Perhaps the whole "alien's wife powers" spoiler might be a hint....

Okay. How about this?!
Trisha in Chicago: Hi there! Searching for some Smallville scoop! We know that in the episode "Bride," Clark and Lois will recognize the spark between them just in time for Lana to come back. Can you give us any hints about what happens there?
A: Well, we are going to find out why Lana (Kristin Kreuk) has returned and where she's been all these months. We'll also learn why she left that Dear John video for Clark (Tom Welling). And I'm hearing Chloe's wedding reception will not go as planned.

I got goodies!!
Episode #8-7: "Identity" October 30, 2008
Written By: Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer
Directed By: Mairzee Almas
UPDATED 10/24/08: Clark expects Chloe to delete Jimmy's photo, and she refuses.
- Chloe tells Clark that this situation has given him the perfect alter ego. "It's called an alias, Clark," she says. "Writers have been writing under pen names since the invention of the alphabet. Oliver Queen has the Green Arrow; I think it's time for you to have one of your own."
- Chloe insists to Clark that the photo does not reveal anything about Clark Kent, but it instead gives the world "something that they desperately need right now - a hero."
UPDATED 10/23/08: Lois is paired with a new Daily Planet city reporter named Sebastian who has been assigned to work with her. In actuality, Sebastian has been sent by someone to see if she has some important information.
- Clark seems a little jealous when Lois is about to show Sebastian the town.
- Chloe asks Clark if people knowing that someone is out there saving lives would necessarily be a bad thing.
- Jimmy rifles through the Smallville Ledger and Torch archives to prove that such super-heroics may have been going on for a while - and he asks Clark if there was anyone from high school who may have been suspicious.
Episode #8-12: "Bulletproof" 2009
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Phil Morris (John Jones/The Martian Manhunter)
UPDATED 10/23/08: This episode may feature a kiss between two characters that have been on the show for several years, barring any changes in plans. Since Lois, Davis, and Jimmy are not in the episode, that narrows it down a little bit as to who it might be....

This is just as interesting!!
Episode #8-11: "Legion" Air Date Unknown
Written By: Geoff Johns
Directed By: Glen Winter
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Alexz Johnson (Imra, unconfirmed)
UPDATED 10/28/08: Alexz Johnson, who starred in The N's Instant Star, is said to be filming a role on Smallville this week. Could that role be that of Imra Ardeen, a.k.a. Saturn Girl of the Legion? Visit Rumorville for more details...
- The villain Geoff Johns mentioned using is not Darkseid, Mordru, or the Time Trapper; however, there is an additional threat - it's not just Brainiac .
Episode #8-12: "Bulletproof" 2009
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Phil Morris (John Jones/The Martian Manhunter)
UPDATED 10/27/08: Clark goes undercover as a cop after [Detective] John Jones is shot, hoping to find out what actually happened. His cop alias is "Joe Fordman," which could be a reference to Whitney Fordman from Season 1.
- The character of police inspector Dan Turpin - who first appeared in Jack Kirby's New Gods comic book series - makes his first Smallville appearance in this episode. Turpin has a 4-year-old son who is emulating the "Red-Blue Blur" that has enthralled Metropolis in recent months. Turpin's cop partner has recently been murdered.
- Oliver has resumed the role of Green Arrow by this point.
- Turpin witnesses Clark talking to the Green Arrow and realizes he is not who he says he is.
- Dr. Emil Hamilton - also a character from comics lore - assists Clark and Oliver to help John Jones and his unique physiology. Note that Dr. STEVEN Hamilton was the "Dr. Hamilton" seen in Smallville's early years. Keep in mind that the presence of Turpin or Dr. Hamilton could be subject to change.
- Cop sentiment over costumed heroes and vigilantes is rather low.
- Lana and Oliver are keeping a secret from Clark.

Update.
Episode #8-11: "Legion" Air Date Unknown
Written By: Geoff Johns
Directed By: Glen Winter
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Alexz Johnson (Imra, unconfirmed)
UPDATED 10/29/08: Don't expect the Legion to be wearing full-on costumes. However, they will be wearing clothing that is evocative of their comic book counterparts, much like Clark has his blue shirt and red jacket.
Episode #8-12: "Bulletproof" 2009
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Phil Morris (John Jones/The Martian Manhunter)
UPDATED 10/29/08: Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has confirmed that the kiss is between Clark and L***. Considering Erica Durance is not in the episode, that pretty much leaves Lana as the only choice - unless Lucy Lane makes a return appearance, or Lori Lemaris swims up.

Episode #8-8: "Bloodline" November 6, 2008
Written By: Caroline Dries
Directed By: Michael Rohl
Guest Stars: Laura Vandervoort (Kara)
UPDATED 10/31/08: When Clark and Lois arrive in the Phantom Zone, Kara initially thinks they are deadly Phantom Zoners.
- Lois is with Clark when he touches the crystal that sends them to the Phantom Zone.
Kara has been aware that there was an escape route from the Zone, but chose not to use it so that she "wouldn't make the same mistake" that Clark did when he returned home and released Zoners at the start of Season 6. __________________"Immortality! OH...SNAP!!
Episode #8-11: "Legion" Air Date Unknown
Written By: Geoff Johns
Directed By: Glen Winter
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana), Alexz Johnson (Imra/Saturn Girl)
UPDATED 11/4/08: In an interview posted on IGN.com, writer Geoff Johns has revealed that we will see Legion flight rings and also makes a reference to the "villain's weapon." No confirmation yet on who that Legion villain will be, but maybe Johns or The CW will eventually be persuaded to spill the beans.
- Johns has revealed that Kristin Kreuk has a "powerful" and "heartfelt" scene and that Allison Mack has some "pretty intense things" to do in the episode.
- Regarding casting: "I love who they have playing the Legion. They look great. I'll talk more about them when they're announced," he says. "But they freaking rock. Legion rings, the villain's weapon -- holy s**t, wait until you see HIM-- "Grife!", they are the Legion."
- Johns seems happy with how the episode is turning out: "I'm actually surprised by how faithful the Legionnaires will be to the comics. It's really faithful to the comic book series. Who they are as people, what they do, it's all in there. Obviously it's going to be a little different because they're just coming back for the first time to meet Clark. They're uniforms are the Smallville versions, not spandex. But I'm really happy with how faithful it is. And writing the first live action of the Legion is an honor."
Episode #8-13: "Power" 2009
Directed By: Allison Mack
Guest Stars: Kristin Kreuk (Lana)
UPDATED 11/4/08: Some Luthorcorp experiments are being done involving Lana. Apparently these experiments are what is keeping her alive.
- Dr. Grohl (the scientist from "Arrow" and "Fallout" who was recently seen again in "Instinct") is involved with these experiments, which may also have ties to Project: Ares from previous seasons.
- The three series regulars to appear in this episode are Tom Welling (Clark), Allison Mack (Chloe), and Cassidy Freeman (Tess).

- This is Kristin Kreuk's final episode as Lana Lang. Sadly, those hoping for a Chloe & Lana "Delete" Smackdown Part 2 will be disappointed, as there is no such scene.
