UPDATED 1/29/09: As seen in this episode's trailer... Lex Luthor is back, and he may play a big role in what separates Clark and Lana forever.

I'm wondering if they're gonna use the "disfigured face" excuse as using another actor instead of michael...i mean, that'd be the logical thing to do... __________________"Bravery is not something that you can learn." ~Phil Morris, a.k.a. J'onn J'onzz, The Martian Manhunter

Episode #8-18: "Eternal" 2009
UPDATED 2/3/09: Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello posted the following spoiler for "Stiletto," even though the harboring actually begins in episode #8-18: "Chloe willingly begins harboring a fugitive whose name rhymes with Broomsday. (Second hint: He turned her wedding day into a low-budget Cloverfield.) And being the dutiful hostess that she is, she even throws in free meals. Wait 'till you see what, er, who she serves for dinner on Day One." (The "feeding" may occur in #8-19, though Sam Witwer does not appear in that one).

What? Chloe's always there for her friends, but complicit in murder? I really hope I'm reading that wrong. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

Question: Anything at all on Smallville? I've noticed nothing's been mentioned in a few weeks. -- Scott
Ausiello: Is that your passive-aggressive way of calling me a Lazy Susan? If so, nicely played, my friend. Very subtle. Anywhoo, by now you probably know that episode 19 finds Lois concocting her very own superhero alter ego, Stiletto, in an effort to smoke out the Red Blue-Blur. (She attacks bad guys with her pointy heels. Get it?) Well, what you may not know is that in that same episode, Chloe willingly begins harboring a fugitive whose name rhymes with Broomsday. (Second hint: He turned her wedding day into a low-budget Cloverfield.) And being the dutiful hostess that she is, she even throws in free meals. Wait 'till you see what, er, who she serves for dinner on Day One.

Smallville Spin-Off For 2009-2010?
UPDATED 2-4-09
Smallville's future as far as a ninth season would go is still "up in the air," with many things riding on the signing of Tom Welling for a ninth year.
However, we are starting to hear rumors that if Tom does not sign for a Season 9, there might be a Smallville spin-off in its place after all. No ideas yet on casting or concept, or if this is anything more than a rumor, but it's something to think about....

Hmm I hope if they cancel Smallville they do a new superhero. I wish they'd do that Aquaman show they had going. Some hero that's been around a good while at least with a fresh spin. __________________

Finally!! Some news!!
More Spoilers For Smallville Season 8!
UPDATED 2/10/09: That "really exciting thing" we teased for episode #20 or #21 back on January 23? Might actually be saved for the season finale, in addition to anything else they have planned. No word yet on if Lex will be present for the finale, though if this "big thing" is saved for the finale, it still should add to the excitement.

I only wish this was a paying job. LOL. Thanks. I got more.
Question: Has Tom Welling signed on for season 9 of Smallville yet? -- Pat
Ausiello: No. I'm not sure what's taking so long.
Question: Any news from Lois' big return to Smallville? -- Claudia
Ausiello: It airs March 12. It features a return appearance by Tori Spelling. It finds Clark revealing his true identity to the world. And I'm told it will have Lois and Clark fans forgetting Lana appeared in any episodes at all this season.

Good, but I kind of hate the going back and forth thing. It makes Clark seem so wishy washy. Once he's progressed into loving one girl he ought to stick with her. __________________

No rest for me today. I got an episode title & info on that episode.
Episode #8-20: "Beast" April 30, 2009
- Chloe's situation with Davis (see "Eternal" spoilers) is giving her nightmares.
- Oliver and Jimmy begin to form a friendship.
- Chloe makes a decision that will change her friendship with Clark forever.
- Erica Durance (Lois) and Cassidy Freeman (Tess) do not appear in this episode. (Don't shoot the messenger!)

Well, if that was a natural human emotion, then I'd agree. Unfortunately, it's not. __________________"Any man can overcome adversity. If you truly want to test a man's character, give him power."

I agree with you completely but have to point out that Clark isn't human. He's from the same planet as Tim. __________________Beneath this mask is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea Mr Creedy and ideas are bulletproof.

True, but he was raised by humans and it's confirmed by Jor-El and Jonathan that he acts and feels just like one. __________________"Any man can overcome adversity. If you truly want to test a man's character, give him power."

Yup, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck - then I'd say it's a duck (kryptonian or no). __________________The Bible is so powerful. It's not to be left on your shelf. Quote: Well, if that was a natural human emotion, then I'd agree. Unfortunately, it's not. I'm just an old married man. I'm not used to running around after every girl that turns my head anymore.
From my position in life who you love is a choice. It's a commitment not just based on emotion. Think about how many people would wind up divorced if they went on how they felt from one day to the next. Heck I'd divorce myself on some days if it were possible.
Quote: Clark isn't human. He's from the same planet as Tim. Does this mean I have powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal man? Gosh, if I could just get that flying thing down.
I think Clark qualifies as human because of his human nature. To quote Zod, "He cares he actually cares."
Wow the trailer for Infamous looks like it's going to be good! __________________

Say you been watching me play basketball?
Quote: We learn a little bit more about what is connecting Chloe to Davis, and some of those revelations may better explain some of the spoilers concerning them for episodes later in the season. Good that sounds interesting.
I want to see Jimmy and Chloe together since they got married and everything. Gee whiz what a honeymoon. Chloe spends all her time helping Clark out. __________________

Um...Yikes!!
Episode #8-20: "Beast" April 30, 2009
Writer: Genevieve Sparling
UPDATED 2/20/09: Davis phones Chloe to tell her that some people have tried breaking in to her apartment. He says that he is "holding them here." Chloe implores him to release them, but Davis says that if he does that, they'll go to the police.
- Davis compromises and tells Chloe he'll let them go "after we leave Smallville."
- Jimmy confronts Davis and refers to him as "Cloverfield." Davis backhands him and sends him flying into a wall. After that, Davis threatens Oliver.
- Chloe insists to the detective that she and Davis are "nothing more than friends."
- Later in the episode, it seems that Davis has Oliver held in the Talon basement. (Maybe he's one of those people who broke in?) __________________"Immortality! Take it! It's yours!" ~ Brad Pitt (Achillies) - Troy
