You all realize this is the last season for the Justice League on Cartoon Network. It comes on Saturday at 10:30 and there are only a few episodes left.

One of them is going to feature Supergirl and the Legion of Super Heroes which will I assume pave the way for the new series coming on the WB featuring the Legion.

why do all the good cartoons go off the air so fast[sad]
Posted:  13 Mar 2006 18:23
I don't know. I'm thinking that they figure the attention spans of kids are very short, but heck they reran the crap out of JL for a while then it was once a week. Then they moved it to 10:30 at night so I missed a couple of episodes because I didn't know it moved later.

Now all cartoon network has is that Japanese animation stuff of characters I have never heard of or care to hear of like Bo Bo Booo something or other. I thought pokemon was bad but sheesh.

Anime makes me want to vomit. Shallow storys, lazy art.

Their lip movements are really bad too, worse than normal cartoons. Totally out of sync with the words.

and that's why I am against anime (except for the old Star Blazers cartoon from the late '70's, but since this is a Superman site, I'll shut up about that). Cartoon Network is pro-anime; I haven't watched them since Destroyer was finally aired.

ANIME SUCKS!!! JLU ROCKS!! (that is about as pure and simple as it gets)

True, True, very true. Most anime characters act like they've lost most their brain cells to some sort of drug or alchohol abuse. I feel like in order to enjoy one of them, I would need to bang my head into a wall for about an hour to kill enough brain cells to be entertained by it.

DEATH TO ANIME!

you know not all of the new japanese cartoons are that bad. I mean naruto is pretty cool, and dragon ball z was pretty action packed too. Now don't get me wrong I love superman and the JLU but hay you know this is just my opinion.

I respect that it's just I have a hard time identifying with their style, and it seems that cartoon network has been taken over by them. There are some anime shows though that it's just beyond me that someone would call entertainment.

I cannot remember the last time I saw JL or JLU as it was re-titled on CN.  I had a terrible time keeping up with when it was on.

I have seen a few episodes of "Legion of Superheroes", can't say I'm impressed.  It looks to be lacking in both animation and storyline.  Also, I found it strange that when they bring Superman to the "future" they have it look as though Superman has been dead for a long time, weird.  Oh well!!

BTW, I too enjoyed DBZ and Gundam Wing and the "older" animation programs like Voltron, Transformers, etc.  However, I too do not get these programs like Pokemon (or however you spell it), et. all.  It seems to me that if you have a dumb idea for a cartoon, you can probably get it put on the air!
