Is Superman and the Mole Men available on DVD?

Yes it is on the First season Adventures of Superman DVD set

Amazon Adventures of Superman DVD page

It has the TV and Theatrical version. I saw the theatrical version for the first time on this dvd set. It's got a different opening than the TV series.

Thank you for your replies.  I didn't know there was a TV version.  I saw the movie -- well, part of it -- in the theater around 1953 or so.  I went to the theater alone, and I was scared @#$%less!  In the film there was a scene showing a mole man rolling a glowing, "radioactive" ball across the floor toward a kid, and at that point I had to leave.  I couldn't finish the film.  Part of my problem in 1953 is that I lived in the Westchester area of L.A., and the scenes of the mole men climbing out of oil well shafts looked like they were shot in the Baldwin Hills, not far from where I lived.  The setting of the film was too close to home.  At the age of 61, I think I'm ready to try again.

I saw it last week with a friend and it was great! I am happy that they included it on the 1st season of Superman is on DVD. I remeber seeing it on TV long time ago and before the DVD came out. All I could remeber of the episode format was at the end of the show when the Mole Men close of the hatch and destoryed the Well so no one can follow them to their world beneath the earth.

Well Calypte I hope you do have another go on watching it again. LOL I had a simular thing with War of the Worlds when I first saw it on TV as a kid. Freaked the heck out of me until I watching it again when I was alittle older. So I can relate.
