Even if your a kid check it out. You might learn something about the good old days of which by the way I caught on reruns.
Some of you people think I was around to watch Abraham Lincoln's address to the nation after the Civil War. No, they didn't have TV back then, and no I wasn't there. Sheesh.
Seriously though check out the article it's written by Ben Burgraff who has been very nice to write and draw a lot of stuff for Supermantv.net and Supermanfanart.com. It's very interesting. __________________

When I was a kid and very much into watching the Lone Ranger re-runs on Saturday afternoon, my Mom told me about the court decision to make Clayton Moore stop wearing the "mask" of the Lone Ranger. At my age I could not understand any of this and so I took it upon myself to write a letter to President Jimmy Carter to ask him to intervene in the matter. I mean I guess to a kid the Lone Ranger must have really REALLY instilled a feeling of doing everything that was good and American and so I guess I thought that if there was anyone who could help it would be the President. Well a few weeks later I actually got a letter from President Carters press secretary, telling me sadly that it would be inappropriate for the President to intervene in something that had already been decided by the courts. I had always wondered though as I got older if Clayton Moore ever knew of the little boy who loved him so much as the Lone Ranger that he wrote to the President to try to help him get his mask back.........................

I'm sure you were just one of many kids and grownups at the time that were cheering for Clayton Moore. __________________
