I found it interesting that both the Justice League's series ending finale and Smallville's season finale center around Lex Luthor and Braniac.
In a previous season on the Justice League Lex Luthor is possessed by Braniac. On the last week's episode, "Alive" Luthor wants to regain whatever power he perceived he had when controlled by Braniac. This leads to bringing back Darkseid from the grave and a lot of trouble for Superman next week.
On Smallville Braniac has done something to Lex which appears to have given him the same powers as Braniac. Could Smallville be taking ideas from the Justice League? I wouldn't blame them if they did. The Justice League, Superman, and Batman Animated Series are some the best animated series ever done.
If you missed this years JLU episode, "The Great Brain Robbery" you missed a hoot. Michael Rosenbam, Smallville's Lex Luthor does the voice of the Flash on JL. On this particular episode the Flash traded brains with Lex Luthor. So you had the TV live action Lex Luthor playing the Flash who becomes trapped inside the body of the animated version of Lex Luthor.
Now ain't that confusing? __________________
