This is a germ of an idea I have for a fan fiction story...
Whitney Fordman, while he lived in Smallville, secretly used his wits and ingenuity to fight crime and solve mysteries.
So when he joined the Marines, he was recruited into an organization of secret agents, and his death in Indonesia was only a cover.
Now, along with Dr. Helen Bryce, he continued to work as a secret agent all over the world.
What do you think?[smirk]

or if you want to go with helen bryce( )
since she showed up shortly after whitney left smallville you could pull it off...but heres and idea
u know how all the natural events had specific motives ( I.E. meteor shower for "transportation" )
the tornado could've brought helen bryce!
she could be a piece of the kryptonian ship ( just a little bit early ) meant 2 go ahead of Zod and "check out the place"
She was a n original diciple of zod untilshe got replaced by Ursa
She got very angry and vowed 2 kill Zod
when she arrived at earth...she set herself up as a doctor and settled in,
Lets just say she found out clarks secret b4 she met lex
after she saw that he was Jor-Els son she went 2 contact him
Jor-El being so omnipotent, told her everything that was 2 come (seasons 2-5)
she heard that Kal-els worst enemy would be used 2 channel Zod
she came 2 a conclusion that it was 1 of the luthors
u can get the rest from there
eventualy she figured out it would b LEx and tried 2 kill him 2 prevent zod from coming back
if you like my outline u may use it
im not good at "writing" between the lines...

ok got it!
pete left 2 go 2 whichaface with his mom right?
wrong!
lex had him kidnapped and tortured 4 basically being clark's best friend nstead of him
whitney, doin all this crime fighting eventually finds pete n an underground liar! ( k and underground liar is a little weird, u can change that )
he breaks him out after2 years of captivity
pete only has vengence 4 his ill-treatment and hatred of lex left
so he teams up with whitney and 2gether they fight crime with out being noticed until chloe, while doing aa report on street robberies and deciedes 2 "get in on the action" and goes to metropolis with clark
( kinda like vengence but a little different )
hes there 2 protect her from muggers if things get 2 far
so this gang comes along and starts 2 aggitate chloe...clark begins 2 step n, when out of nowhere, 2 masked ( yes masked) figures come out from nowhere and start beating the crap out of the bad guys!!
when there done chloe and clark stand there dumbfounded
uses his x-ray vision 2 c undernealth their disguises, and 2 his surprise...its whitney and pete!!
they run off after telling clark " Don't follow us "
( i think this would be abetter smallville episode then it would be a fan fiction story! )
