I was just lumping them together. I mean they did it with Dean's superman with regards to his vision powers in one specific episode of L and C when they brought Jimmy's dad into the show once. I remember it because he used his x-ray to see through the two objects and his telescopic to compare the two fingerprints he was looking at. What about him developing a supernose they haven't gone there yet either. This means that he has obscenely advanced senses, hence his vision and hearing powers, that would include the ability to detect smells ten times better than the average dog. Besides we are just having a bit of fun with what might be happening in the upcoming season or future seasons of Smallville, SO LIGHTEN UP A BIT PLEASE. In other words his powers require him to think about what he wants to do before he can use that power. I think his power of flight is mental not physical because he doesn't flap his arms does he?
