i really enjoyed part1,2,4 i just didnt care for 3 except the part about him doing his high school reunion and meeting lana.

I like all three. The ending for three was a little disappointing. I wasn't too crazy over the super computer thing, but I loved the Smallville angle and the good vs evil Superman thing.

The funny thing is I've seen number 4 like 5 times even though it stinks compared to the other three. It's still cool to see Superman flying even when the movie is crap.

what was so bad about supe 4 i thought it was cool i liked the fact that they brought lex luthor back and i liked nuclear man so i was just curious what tim didnt like about it and the main reason i didnt like 3 was it did not have lex luthor.

Superman 1, 2, 3 and 4 pretty much stuck to world themes of the time period. The first two were about intrducing us to superman and getting to know him. Number three used the whole computers and technology is getting to advanced theme. Number four used the whole nuclear age/war theme and I liked them all. The only problem with number 4 was I have never seen the uncut version with Lex's first attempt at a nuclear man (take a look at the original back cover of the video). I have seen the uncut versions of 1 and 2 but don't know if there is any scenes cut out number 3.

Yes I hate the fact they cut so much out of it. I have never seen the uncut version either. You would think in today's dvd craze we would get to see it.

The movie to me is too choppy. It's almost good, but then it just doesn't flow right. It feels like its' been cut to death. I didn't like the world hopping scenes. It would have been better to have the nuclear man fights more in a centralized location. I got the feeling the budget was also a lot smaller.

Don't get me wrong I like just about all Superman related movies and TV shows, but compared to the first three it just didn't have the heart of the previous movies. You just don't feel anything.

ok LucasLuthor, you are very much welcome to your opinion but I think 1, 2, and 3 were a long way ahead of number 4 because it didn't have enough of a storyline to it and it was cut to pieces too much aswell.

that may be true but superman fighting someone with the exact same powers as himself is pretty, thus 2 then 4, superman 3 was ok but it couldve been much better and superman 1 i didnt like at all.

Lucas Luthor why did you not like Superman 1 I think that was the classic that set it all off for every thing else. yeah it did have it's slow parts but that is because it had to establish superman and how he came to be

i enjoyed all of them but if i did have to rank them from best to worst (or favorite to least favorite, however you want to look at it) it would be in the order that they were released
