Pages: 1 Posted:  25 Jul 2006 08:49 Registered User Currently Offline Posts:  444 Join Date: Jun 2006 does anybody remember a scene in Superman 2 where Zod kills a kid? it's the scene where they (zod,ursa,non) had just landed on earth and were in that country town. non had ripped the siren from the top of the police car and in the scene in question, zod took it from him and threw it at a kid that was taking off on his horse if i remember correctly. anybody ever remember seeing that scene? Into the Twin Towers ran the 343 Firefighters Posted:  26 Jul 2006 07:22 Registered User Currently Offline Posts:  444 Join Date: Jun 2006 i'm positive i remember seeing it. it was the kid whos dad was raised in the air by some laser out of zods finger. he was saying please mr. general, please let my daddy down. then later general zod is saying something about noone leaving and in the distance you see the kid riding off and so zod chucks the siren in his direction. and you hear this loud sound like as if a bomb had landed. and zod says "noone." and they show the sheriff kinda looking down,sad.i don't know? maybe i suffer from false memory syndrome or something. One of the kryptonians threw a siren from a police car at a kid riding away on a horse. Strange kid had a English accent. Anyway a lady says, "But he was only a boy" and then the evil Ursula says, "And he will never become a man". Something to that effect. Into the Twin Towers ran the 343 Firefighters Posted:  14 Feb 2007 10:14 Registered User Currently Offline Posts:  444 Join Date: Jun 2006 how come this scene wasn't in the chris reeve collection? it wasn't in the donner version either although i don't know which director directed that scene (lester or donner) but...i'm happy to say there was that scene in STM (and i posted a topic on this as well) where lex has some animal or creature in his dungeon or whatever and he lowers miss tessmacher into it for betraying him. i'm sure you've seen it if you have the chris reeve collection. that's weird though. how would i have seen that scene before? i remember seeing it on T.V. as a child in the early eighties when i was maybe 6-7(i'm guessing 81-82) as well as a few other scenes that we now see in the expanded 2000 edition. how could i have seen an expanded version in 1981???
