Robert Culp posters and photos

Robert Culp played Mr. Darryl on the Lois and Clark episodes "Lucky Leon" and "Top Copy". He is best known for his 1960's tv series I Spy where he co-starred with Bill Cosby and the 1980's Greatest American Hero. That show even though it was mostly a comic take on the super hero genre, it was deemed too much like Superman and a lawsuit soon followed. The only thing the show had in common with Superman was that they both fly.

The show centered around a curly headed school teacher Ralph Hinkley who gets a suit from aliens that gives him super powers.  He loses the instructions and has to learn super heroing the hard way, often flying into the sides of buildings.  Robert Culp played Bill Maxwell Ralph Hinkley's partner.  A great show too bad it only lasted 43 episodes.
