Superboy Season One Review   Fan Reviews

Season One Episodes 1 -14  Episodes 15 - 26

15. Stand Up And Get Knocked Down - This one was probably number two on my least favorite episodes. It showcased Bonkers, a popular comedy club, and T.J. White attempting to help catch some drug dealers. T.J. ends up getting himself drugged by the bad guys and almost burned alive. Luckily Superboy is there to save the day. Guest starring Gary Lockwood

16. Meet Mr. Myxyzptlk - This one was pretty fun. It guest starred Michael J. Pollard as Myxyzptlk and was written by Dennis O'Neil.

17. Birdwoman of the Swamps -  James Macarthur from Hawaii Five-0 guest stars, but this time he's the one getting booked at the end as a crooked real estate developer.

Book him Danno!

18.Terror From the Blue -  Mortal Kombat star Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa guest stars. This was one of my favorite guest appearances from season one. Tagawa is best known as Shang Tsung from MK. He really knows how to play a bad guy. I mean nobody can duplicate that mean look he's got. Tagawa plays a crooked cop who tries to kill Lana after she sees him attempt murder.

It has begun!

Aww, man I don't even know kung fu!

19.War of the Species - An android tries to whoop up on Superboy, and you won't believe the ending.

20. Little Hercules - Leaf Phoenix guest stars. He's better known as Joaquin Phoenix now. He recently played in a little movie about Johnny Cash called, "Walk the Line". Phoenix goes down in the history books as yet another actor to wear the Superman costume, but I'll bet most people don't know that. Phoenix hacks into a Navy computer system and almost sets off a nuclear blast.

21. Mutant - 24th Century time travelers arrive at Shuster University on a mission to find plutonium. Apparently Marty McFly from Back the Future isn't the only one who uses it. Good story, but I wasn't that crazy over the looks of the future people.

22.Phantom of the Third Division - An old soldier from Jonathan Kent's Korean unit shows up, but he blames Jonathan for his troubles in the Korean War and threatens to kill him.

23. Black Flamingo - Guest starring Fernando Ellende. This is, in my opinion, the worst episode of the season. Superboy goes into disguise as a punk biker and infiltrates a punk bar.

Lana with a punk hair style.

Superboy in disguise, remember when Clark rode off to Metropolis on the WB Smallville after being affected by Red K? Think they were inspired by this scene?

24. Hollywood - My favorite from the first season. Superboy travels back into time into the 1930's. It's very reminiscent of the Adventures of Superman with George Reeves, complete with gangsters, deflected bullets, and bending gun barrels. Doug McClure guest stars as the inventor who creates the time machine. He's best known for his role on the western "Shenandoah" which also starred James Best from the Dukes of Hazzard and Jimmy Stewart.

25.Succubus - An ageless beauty stays young by stealing the life force of others, and her next victim is Superboy. The best scene is this episode has little to do with the plot. Superboy plays a game of baseball and takes every position of both teams.

26. Luthor Unleashed - Luthor loses his hair and blames Superboy for it.  Scott Wells plays Lex Luthor.

Not the hair anything but the hair!

Why Lex is dressed like Sawyer Brown I'm not sure about.
